Yeah except I was expecting them to go right onto the Nordschleife and when they went straight, on the GP track, for a split second I thought "Sh*t! Where is he going?!"

Write please is it hard to rotate the steering wheel on this car, do you need a lot of effort? Very interesting is the difference in effort with game steering wheels for car simulators.

Depends on what gear you use, with direct drive wheels you can simulate a similar amount of steering torque, around 10-15Nm for GT3 cars, around 5-7 times more than your basic Logitech G27 steering wheel. They're not exceedingly hard to drive effort wise since they are also meant to be driven by gentleman drivers who are not pro racers/athletes.

It seemed like the Audi in front gained an advantage when they both went through the sector yellow flag as he didn't slow down much until the last flag.

have always wanted to cut off the top half of my steering wheel, like he has his here, just to see if the car would steer any differently....LOL they must do this partly for better visibility right?

Yeah, I would say that's correct. The driver sits so low in the car that he probably wouldn't be able to see the instruments unless the top of the wheel was cut off.

It was insane and intense. Since I've never driven anything like it before. Once finished I was basically drenched in sweat but was the most fun I've had.

Judging by the hose network attached to it probably an internal fire extinguisher. The deal with Ramazotti is i think since this was a camera car the first thing you notice is that so they sponsored it with Ramazotti Liquors.

Can anybody explain to me what that BMMMMMMMM noise is at the very beginning of the vid and during the vid it happens a lot and I don’t know what that noise is or what is does

Actually I think it's the shift compressor, the gears in these cars are shifted pneumatically , so the compressor recharges on downshift

Getriebekompressor? Was soll das sein? Der R8 hat keinen Turbolader. Dieses Surren ist einfach nur das geradeverzahnte Getriebe (Straßenfahrzeuge hören sich ähnlich an beim Rückwärtsfahren). Und an der Stelle, an welcher Doppel-Gelb geschwenkt wurde, dürfen die Fahrzeuge nicht schneller als 60 km/h fahren, weswegen der Fahrer hier den sogenannten Pit-Limiter gedrückt hat: Er hält das Fahrzeug auf dieser Geschwindigkeit, und man fährt sozusagen ständig im elektronischen Drehzahlbegrenzer. Das hört sich dann auch entsprechend an und könnte auch von dubscope gemeint sein.

woha Das ist die Pneumatik vom Getriebe. Der Kompressor pumpt einfach Luft zum Schalten. Tut mir Leid aber das was du da erzählst ist an der Frage vorbei.

16 minutes lost watching a video where the driver behind does not have the courage to risk and is 16 minutes ago, I expected at least an overtaking of the rival car ahead and not of weaker cars, not worth a like.
