@@vinito19 you forget that the pull out happens when the enemy is about to come and then look for a new hole in their formation to exploit. All that edging probably explains the armor piercing.

100% agree with this general rule. If you use the trait manager, you don't get a rating. Cover it sure, this is MAX possible, but... it really does cheapen the intent of a one man doom stack. Thanks for covering the video, appreciated as always.

@@techpriestsalok8119 Because it's cheap and cheating. That's all. Other people are actually building characters in game. He also explicitly states "please don't send in save games with mods".

Getting knocked down should incur a melee defense penalty or extra damage modifier while down, not this ridiculous invulnerability.

Agreed. It's absolutely infuriating that all it essentially does is drag the battle on. If your own characters are getting knocked down, it sucks because you can't cast spells, deal damage, or move. When it's your own characters knocking the *enemy* down, it still sucks because now they're invulnerable and it screws up your charge. Ends up leading to that goofy animation where your guy runs in a circle to try to come back for another pass instead of just staying engaged with the enemy and attacking them.... which means they come around and charge again and just keep knocking them down. Super irritating when you're just trying to finish off an enemy who's routing.

The submitter got 700 kills and a Pyrrhic Victory. Legend got 357 and a Heroic Victory. Skillz the man has are sublime.

Remaining life points are calculated as well as kills.

the kills actually don't matter for victory type. all the matters is how damaged is your army when you get the win. you can get heroic victories if you just rout the enemy and kill none of them.

​@@LegendofTotalWar True, but I think their point was that you needed fewer kills to achieve victory because you took less damage. I.e. if you'd taken as much damage as the submitter, you'd have needed more kills.

If you kill only infantry, you fluff your stats. Legend avoided infantry and just killed single units. As the original Lord of the Rings said - It still counts as one! ;D

You can also look at the campaign history to see if the key events are consistent with a few of the super critical traits

N'ASCARi be like déja vu, i've to this place before..........

FYI, the melee hit formula is Chance to hit (h) = 35% + (melee attack - melee defence) where 8% < h < 90%. So 35% base, 8% minimum, 90% max.

I love N'Kari as a Lord, he's large but very fast so he can waste enemy ammo and the way he runs makes him look like a Naruto character.

N'kari is probably my favorite duelist in this game. It feels so satisfying watching him zip around the field at 162 speed lmao

I still think a "What is the silliest thing you can make a weak lord into with the trait manager?" Gimmick event would be funny. Though some of the Clearly Best traits are pretty universal "Max out wardsave, get unbreakable, get regen and the hunger, get magic from United mind."

You can do so much legitimately anyway, for example you could make a hero doomstack with Dark Elves masters/mages as they can get all the names of power if you disband them and re-hire them if they are immortal, as for some reason it just gives the name of power prompt again. Trait manager is just so lazy.

I love N'kari easily one of my favourites, his voice over is cool, speed, Slicing Shards is amazing if you go against blobs of infantry, the only downside is how fragile N'kari can be, if you're not careful he will die really fast.

Slaanesh is really a well designed faction in Warhammer 3. Can’t wait to see legend streaming the Slaanesh campaign since the hidden supplies line had been fixed.

I respect the decision to not rate the trait manager users, since by using it, the person submitting it has already basically said "this is too hard/too much effort to do in a normal playthrough".

"He's so fast, he just pulls out." "When they are about to come in, just slip right out." Are we not still doing phrasing, or...?

Units should take some damage when they get launched from a charge. If not from the attack itself then at least from getting launched 15 feet in the air

@@adammclaughlin845 if they fall a decent distance from their starting y it does start to deal damage very quickly. Get something with high knockback on a wall and watch the little infantry fly to their deaths. But yes, getting throw 50 feet away should probably do the same regardless of height.

N'Kari Naruto running around the map is probably one of the funniest things I've seen in this game.

Awesome job with the running. I can't help but think you'd have been done in half the time had you casted more spells. Even if they weren't maximally stacked up, you still could've hit multiple units. Regardless of that, I love the videos and have learned more from you than anyone! Thank you so much!

They will 100% dodge slicing shards due to the long cast time, I use it hold back an enemy army from swarming a capture point before I could take it. Maybe a few more whips on infantry could have helped a little but it was the treemen, zoats and bears that needed to die. I think having the WOM in reserve did more for inflicting the army losses than the damage any of the spells could do.

A cool change to the AI would be if premium ranged units would lead single units in both directions - so they spread their fire out but have a lower chance of just totally whiffing. It would be a cool way to reflect proficiency

Hey, Legend, I think you should absolutely cover and rate the one-man doomstack made by trait manager as long as you weren't lied to. After all, these videos are to show what is potentially achievable with a single lord, not 'rate my efforts'. Just my two cents here, if you don't like it, you don't have to rate them. about stat cap : melee defence is reduced by 30% if defending against attack from the sides and 60% from the back, so a very high melee defence is still useful in some cases.

His charge animation is absolute trash. It triggers too early almost every single time, gets wasted and makes him vulnerable, especially if it's small range missile units like mob with bombards.

Probably one reason having a archer doomstack or ranged doomstack is more viable than having actual melee units in these games. Melee are moreso just sacrificial lambs really.

I personally don’t care if they used a mod for traits. That being said, I also don’t think getting those traits are even necessary in WH3. There are a lot of items, abilities, and skill passives do the job as it is.

I tried trait farming Isabella after the end game crisis. Problem is, my legendary lord was far from her. I got a few standard lords her trait, but too many factions that I was allied with were also at war with her.

N'Kari bumps into trees a lot. For some reason 3x gives it a bit of a comic look.

One idea about this one man doomstack: If you don't plan to use many damage spells then why not use Phantasmagoria to pin units down to spread the army more and get easy isolated targets? Also I actually like this kind of one man doomstack since it's much more entertaining than just standing in the middle of a blob and casting spells.

What's funny is, N'Kari can actually get the Sword of Khaine insanely early, so it would have made sense for him to have it here lol.

N’Kari is actually well poised to get the sword of khaine geographically. Global public order reduction helps their economy (of course the upkeep increase probably more than eats that up)

3:40 Why do Wood Elves have lizardmen battle music? CA should have given them high elf or dark elf music if they didn't make any wood elf battle music.

I feel like Large combatants should be able to hit more enitities at once to make up for how many can hit them and how easy they are to hit with missiles.

I like the compromise on the trait manager. It's different if you earn the traits in game. But essentially cheating for buffs should DQ it for rating.

I use the trait manager but only to remove traits, some stuff are useless like defeating Belegar, I dont want trash to take up 1 out of 40 traits.

Well problem is he lied about it, created fake story and put himself in sylvania to fake evidence. And he knew he was lying and cheating since he created fake story and prepared illusion that was dismantled in 1 minute. Legend should be harsher with liar. If you get away with cheating he will pull that shit again.

Real time strategy Game: a single unit obliterating an entire army.

Not sure if its possible to get that many traits in 100 turns unless your super skilled and just go out of your way to target every single enemy lord...so quite possibly may also have had a movement type mod as well that allowed him to move however far he wanted to in a single turn. I have seen those and I wouldn't doubt some would be used for these rating 1 man doomstack battles. The only typical exception being the vilich fight as that just seemed legit time wise and not even needing a lot of traits to be doomstack level.

Well its unfair. No excuses for cheats. If AI cheats, you learn to counter that as part of learning progress. Lying and trying to get exposure is bad. Third once you cross line and start cheating, line will get blurred, that is exacly why he tried to lie to Legend. Because people get away with cheating they pull more and more shit. There were previous doomstacks pushed for rating and they didnt abuse mod/cheat engine. Partial rating was, how hard was stack to create. How hard it was again to use trait manager? He lied and even put himself in sylvania to create illusion. How fast that doomstack was avaible? well very fast if you get all traits at start and just grind xp. Im sorry but there is no excuse in rating anything if some people get 100% character progression from get go. And every "fair" doomstack that was rated by legend and wasnt 100% of traits is suddenly invalid. And lastly more creative doomstacks? seriously all lords will be copy paste and have regeneration and rest of goodies even if that trait is on other side of world and you need to meet special reqs to obtain it. Only valid reasoning is slow pc, but well Legend put his time to try your shit and maybe you can spend some of yours to properly prepare your doomstack, or maybe its impossible to obtain for you.
