Wow! That's Mike Watt from Minutemen?? That is so fckn cool!!! I am so surprised to hear that he actually sounds as good as the original bass player. Mike Watt definitely had a choppy sounding bass style of playing back when he was in Minutemen. But I only had their first 7" on SST, though. As it turned out after hearing other records of theirs, that 7" ended up becoming my personal favorite by them. Loved that raw, angular guitar style from that record.

saw them at Riot Fest 2012. The boys haven't lost a lick in 40 years. Iggy is still the king! Watt looks like he's 100 hobbling up on stage, but he still KILLS! Williamson on guitar! Killer line-up! thanks for posting.

Iggy is the king of shock rock ! Hes got a real charisma....keep in mind everyone including the venues hated him.he was a real pain in the ass..that was his thing! each show he had to step it up just a bit higher. He got robbed,beat up and thrown out if clubs by bouncers so many times...yet he soldiered on when it wanst so popular or profitable. Chasing a dream only he knew..ya gotta dig the dude..and he makes a great holywood villian too ! 🤘
