Mystery speaks at CCSM Part 1 of 3

PART 1 OF 3
Mystery -- the man we all know -- paid a visit to Casanova Crew Santa Monica February 2014 and gave an incredible, 3-hour speech about pickup. This was one of the first presentations he has given in quite a while and it was a privilege to have him as a guest.

    after checking RSD for a long while, I have to say I'm still impressed by this guy and his system, and I see how much of pick up that is practised started with the Mystery Method. Even still, the stuff he says ring true and are used - like Julien saying "afterparty", or other RSD ppl saying: "hang in there after you get the number, don't just bounce." These concepts are true because they work, and are based on field experiences. Maybe you have a favorite coach or whatever, but this guy's pure magic and his work is nevertheless appreciable and works.

    Interior Crocodile Alligator it's a bit of a fake it till you make it. Once you do the lines, you can start to see how they work and can become a naturally attractive guy over time - that is the theory anyway. That's the idea. I don't think you're supposed to just learn lines and keep telling lies and made up stories. Hope it helps! :)

    I really don't understand what people are hating on this guy for. He teaches and advocates a method you can use to better your chances with women. There are other methods out there but people are talking as if the Mystery Method doesn't work anymore, as if women have evolved in the last 10 years to the point where it isn't effective. I think the PUA community is very faddy. and the fad at the moment is RSD.

  • @SirJoelsuf1

    @SirJoelsuf1

    9 жыл бұрын

    Honestly, RSD is a lot better than most PUAism. They just need to focus more on what to physically do with chicks as most boys have no idea. But a lot of their ideas are very good and they will have a stranglehold on PUAism for awhile. And that's not a bad thing, as it is the least gimmicky thing out there.

    bigjew899 I have watched the long videos RSD have posted on KZread. I don't know if i have to pay them money to get to the _real_ substantive content, but all I can get from their videos is a few amusing anecdotes and a lot of pseudo-intellectual broscience. The lectures just consist of very general statements and long, irrelevant stories. But what information are you really getting? The mystery Method gave me a framework to work within. what I did within that frameowrk was my own personality and creativity. I didn't need to use canned routines for the Mystery Method to be effective for me. It gave me direction and an understanding of where to take an interaction

  • @SirJoelsuf1

    @SirJoelsuf1

    9 жыл бұрын

    Yeah you kind of do need to pay them for the substantive content. But you would need to pay anyone for it really. Most PUAism is broscience tbh. Additionally, stuff like Mystery Method is more designed for the overly logical types who need almost a flowchart to conversing with women. It works wonders for any guy who is totally and completely clueless with chicks, as I was. But it hasn't aged well. IMO RSD takes the Mystery Method to a whole nother level. But yes, having decent conversation skills with chicks kind of is a prerequisite for RSD.

  • @TeifiValley123

    @TeifiValley123

    9 жыл бұрын

    bigjew899 Again this idea it hasn't 'aged' well, i don't understand. I just think there are other fads for people to latch onto at the minute. The mystery method tries to relate itself back to our biology. Why do we biologically feel approach anxiety? This man makes the effort to understand why it is hardwired into our heads. I remember when I first read Eric Markovik's book on the Mystery Method. I went out the same night and I knew exactly where I was going. More importantly i knew where i'd gone wrong when I screwed up. If my introduction to the PUA community would have been RSD, I would still be useless with women because its just some guys telling stories of getting with chicks, rather than how they did it or _why_ it works.

    TeifiValley123 Oh I was talking about the lines and routines etc. Many of those are the modern day "what's your sign" nowadays and have been for roughly five or so years. For shits and giggles I asked a chick if she caught the brawl outside and she was like "what, are you gonna ask me who lies more next? Fuck off." This was in 2010. After that I was like, "yup, time for new material."

    Not even close. Just a popular one. Go to Corey Wayne for absolute truth. Find your passion in life and you won’t have to employ one single thing taught here. Once you find your passion, all the issues Mystery is trying to help you with will vanish. You will NATURALLY neg others, you will peacock with your posture, you will entertain with your eyes. Mystery is good but relays far too much on routines and techniques. With Corey, you find YOU and there are loads of women who want that. No outfits, no loudmouth negs... YOU. Corey’s biggest gift, he shows you how to know within seconds who is WORTH your time and who will never be attracted to you no matter how many rabbits you pull out of however many different colored hats. That’s not how attraction works. At all.

    Learning the routines is great.. but also important to learn the concepts behind the routines-why they work.. Otherwise.. you are good with the few minutes on your routines.. as soon as the routines are dropped.. don't know what to say. Learning the concept behind it.. not just routine itself.. It's learning a package. You come up with good stuff to say or do spontaneously. That's important. For beginners.. it is actually good to just memorize routines.. although it doesn't build your self-esteem or real social skills.. It does however allow people to go out and practice. No routines for those with naturally no game= no practice. Practice gets people started.. after doing it many times... it's good to then learn the concept.. and come up with new things on the fly. Jimmy Kimmel is an excellent example of someone who has good social skills. And to add.. inventing DHV stories is a good start.. but long term goal would be to build REAL DHV in our lives... we are not trying to fake high value male..we BECOME high value male. To choose which DHV stories we want.. and make them real. Talk about going to MIAMI? Go to Miami, take some photos, shoot some videos... then use it on the next set. Then it's not fake, it's real stuff. Each thing you do, you grow a little.. when you do a good 30-50 of those.. your real value would have raised. A lot of stuff back then 10-15 years ago.. so hard to convey.. you probably had to bring all the props out like your photos, magic tricks,etc. to show it to girls and convey. Now? This is too easy. Smartphone solves 90% of the problem. Here are some DHV's that's easy to convey. Easy but take a bit of work. - Social Proof -- Pictures with buddies - Traveling: Go to different cities.. shoot some photos and videos. - Passion: What do you like to do? Sport, art, martial art, music? Shoot some video doing it... - Have a website about yourself. What you do, what's your passion. What do you believe? That's big DHV. It's not hard to build a website.. but most people think it's hard. The fact that you build a website, have a domain name.. have design and content.. show you are smart, passionate, and so much more. -- Have a published BOOK. When people see you have a book.. it's like. '' WOW, you are god!'' In today's environment, thanks to amazon for making publishing so simple.. you can write a 50 page book, put on a cover, and publish yourself on amazon. And make some money as well. Also wealth building here-- Get 2( DHV+$) for price of 1! -- Build an app? It will be assumed you are damn smart! If you don't know how to code.. get someone on upwork.com to do it for you. MONEY & DHV. - Photo with babies or animals -- protector of the loved ones DHV - Photo with 1 or 2 pretty girls.. Preselection. - Doing health related stuff like YOGA, detox --- Take good care of yourself -Go for meditation or spiritual englightment? hitting the ''UNKNOWN'' DHV - If in NY, go take a selfie outside of Wall Street or NY Stock Exchange. Own some stocks.. Invest in your own future? Smart guy!! - Video of public speaking? Leader of Men. - Facebook newsfeed of constantly learning things, success quotes, recommending books, helping people, sharing successful people's video about success. It's possible to upload a lot of things on facebook or instagram.. Upload lots of DHVs photos.. add them.. let them go through it.. next time on a date... It's like HOLY SHIT, this guy is the highest value dude in the world! Or on a date.. just pull out those photos.. snd show.

    RSD is extremely effective if the student has the "type" that the material is about. Its kind of unconscious learning. Those don't have, and don't frequently participate in the lessons, improvement may stop. MM is good for those who dare to try and fail and try until get it and become PUA. Because it is conscious learning so you can improve from doing wrong to doing right while realize things (its painful too), then turn to natural-unconscious.

    Not that Mystery is wrong in any way - everything he says makes sense - but breaking down social interactions so technically makes things so complicated and kind of weird. It may be a good way to teach these things to newbies though. What I've realised though is that most techniques come naturally (you don't even have to think about them) if you have the right mindset and attitude. Everything, say kino, reward and punish good and bad behavior, demonstrating high vs low value... It all comes naturally. That's why I think RSD has a good point not being so technical. But Mystery's technical view on this is good to get an understanding.

  • @hahdanghongha7810

    In learning, we have 4 steps. 1 we don't realize that we re doing wrong Then 2 we realize that we still doing wrong, and try to do things right (Mystery shows the way, and what is considered right or wrong) 3 we realize that we are doing things right 4 we don't realize that we are doing things right, we just do it, its natural, and turns to unconscious state.. Remember when you started to drive a bicycle, how to turn, to push the pedal, etc. we feel everything, so painful, so conscious of anything at first. but it was fun back then, and we learned now we can unconsciously drive bike, even without hands. Like riding a bike, its Very hard to by pass step 2,3 , run to 4 except we do some NLP from some masters who are very experienced with proper techniques and treatment because people are so different in social values and lifestyle. So if you learn to be natural by the lessons built for the mass, it lasts a while, but, after that time, or without proper NLP from those masters, you will stop advance anything. Then you ll have to pay more money to learn other lessons which is not particularly built for you

  • @alexanderhugestrand

    @alexanderhugestrand

    @@LearnCompositionOnline I wrote that eight years ago, and these things are more or less out of fashion now, but still... It's okay to systematize things, but Mystery's teachings (and later RSDs) were missing the most important thing... Your mental wellbeing. It's not strange, since they are (were) not professional psychologists. Those pickup techniques are more or less an observation of HOW successful men behave, but not WHY. As such, it would be more beneficial to say that upfront, and then analyse what the best way to get there should be. But that's difficult. My personal development was something like this: 1. Deal with my neediness. 2. Realise that the less emotionally invested I was, the easier and more successful I was. So basically, mind your own business and don't give a crap about the hot girl, and just talk to everyone with equal (dis)interest. Maybe ask her to move over so that you can get to the bar or something, as your opener. 3. Finding my masculine energy by doing the above. 4. Work with acceptance - accept yourself and your emotions and don't pretend to feel any other way. But still try to improve, and make an effort to give off positive vibes. 5. Realise that I am neurodivergent and can sometimes have problems understanding people. Most people interested in pickup techniques happen to be neurodivergent or sociopathic after all. As such, misunderstandings happen, and people may find me weird at times (in a bad way). But... I'm happily married now, with the hottest girl I could ever dream of. 😁

    Tony Attwood et al. "Been there. Done that. Try this!: An Aspie's guide to life on earth" Tips for Autistics from a person on a spectrum: "Mingle-talk to one or two people, using your questions, lines, or jokes. Pick two from your repertoire. Listen to responses. Then, after chatting for a few minutes with them, move along. The key is to listen and find a break in a new conversation before you break in. After an hour or two, you should have made a complete circuit of the room and you can probably make your escape. You should have leftover things that you prepared-the idea was to have much more than you needed as chat-starters." Has much in common with Mystery Method, isn't it? Canned materials, openning sets, bouncing...

NLP is a speech hypnosis technique to create a group concensus of agreement with the one speaking, which activates mirroring neurons so they feel inclusive and on the same brainwave which is more conducive to manipulation or coachability. The group reactions change through his monotonous and boring stories, their timing and participation responding to his speech. He's using his POA secret weapons on his clients and they're oblivious.

    John Ny To learn and undertand the game you must learn strucuted stuff. Is the strating poing and sure, the social dynamics work the same, but after you get to know the game, you will come with your own stuff. Your game will come natural. You need some training wheels when you start learning.
