A very important thing you forgot to mention: Neil Strauss said in the earlier parts of the book that in order to become successful in seduction and pick up, you will need to go through the pain and humiliation of failing. There is no other way around it. Later on, he went on to say that all of those approaches and opening and closing sets, seduction became second nature to him, that he "could see the matrix". Or as Bruce Lee said " knowing is not enough, we must apply.

Back in 2019 I read only the first few chapters, the next thing that happened is that I hooked up with the best girl in school. I remember all my friends were in shock and couldn’t believe it. Because I’ve never been the talkative guy, i’m very quiet and not fun. I have no sense of humor and I’m really boring tbh all Until I put on the mask.. thanks be to the book of Neil Strauss, it’s very effective and it boosts your confidence with 10x the first 2 weeks (if you’re able to get out of your comfort zone).

I met Neil Strauss in 2017, he was really nice and a very bright interesting guy, although physically pretty unnoteworthy, he had a certain aura and presence. (Although maybe that's because I was a fan). I wanted to take about the game, and he seemed a bit disappointed and reticent about it. I think he is embarrassed about it to this day, it's a great story, but that's all it was intended to be. He didn't intend this tidal wave of men wanting to be manipulators or only seeing women as objects. It was a very psychologically damaging book.

Ok so this subject matter aside there is some excellent material in this for how to navigate the real world. Controversially, the navigation associated in this shows a person how to manipulate others in order to gain control. What works, however, are the pieces in which one learns to read others, modify their own behavior, and shape their expressions to meet the needs of others (indicators of interest). The book can be a road map for any business interaction in the way that many arranged marriages were business transactions. NLP is highly useful information for navigating self improvement and the law of attraction in a general sense. I'm putting my two cents here because alot of people get the wrong idea about this type of knowledge, dehumanizing it as you note.

Picking up Women and having one night stand is definitely fun for it's own sake. But, in the grand scheme of things, I think most Men would prefer to have a strong intimate relationship with one Woman and make her his queen. Of course I'm not saying that the Man has to simp and be a beta for her, but, he just wants a Woman he truly loves with his heart, a Woman he cares for deeply, and a Woman who respects him back in kind. That's the ultimate goal in Life, is to raise a Family with a Woman you truly love. Obviously, go out and have your Fun, but don't think that being a PUA is gonna be a fulfilling life.

You're not telling a story with it, there's nothing connecting the ideas. There's no big picture you draw, which makes the summary uninteresting and without gain.
