The static image starting at 35 seconds is the Eurofighter Typhon not the Gripen. Awesome aircraft!

Maybe a stealth design? It maybe a MiG Killer and even a powerful answer to SU fighter jets! I like this jet! Sweden's jets are always very special. Quality is top!

Belgium would've been better off being Gripen E rather than a handful of expensive F-35

I have no doubt the F-35 is really good. The problem is that you need to operate exactly the same way as Americans would. Had you chosen the Gripen, you could easily have more runways than planes.

Actually, the Gripen wing redesign (trailing edge) looks quite a bit like the J35 Draken.

Good paint job and yes the wings did get a redesign so the undercarriage cold be moved away from the fuselage giving more room for fuel tanks . Showing a Eurofighter profile while talking about Gripen E shows little intelligence.

The initial Gripen E wing design is not what this video is about but the changes that has been implemented on top of that

​@@kronop8884 as I said the wing design is little changed even in area, what is different is the undercarriage position and the moving of some electronics into those large boomerang pylons. The video is all about a paint job by some click bait promotor. The package of changes in Gripen E is a reduction in RCS , a new radar with GaN , sophisticated networking with other systems not just similar aircraft, more internal fuel, much more powerful engine, EW capabilities, increased weapons loadout. It is nothing to do with a paint job that could be done on earlier C/D variants. The upgrade to the wing is perhaps a combination of better load out with extra pylon weapon positions and bigger inboard and outboard elevons . Eurofighter was tested with a modification kit that was similar in principle back in 2015.

@@NATObaitWhat this is all about are the recently implemented changes to the control surfaces relative the original Gripen E design seen in the first batch delivered, not any of the changes relative to Gripen C

​@@kronop8884 I think until SAAB clarifications tell us something major has happened we maybe just have an upgrade to the size of the ailerons and that is needed as the empty weight of the E version is 18% larger than the C and it has a 40% increase in internal fuel hence a little extra control is needed.
