Mysterious Armored Dinosaur Fought Off Super Predators With A Tail Full Of Spikes
Ғылым және технология
The armored dinosaurs are perhaps the least understood major group of dinosaurs. A few patchwork transitional species and ancestral common ancestors are known that give an impression of how these animals evolved, but there are many gaps. Additionally, new lineages of armored dinosaurs are being discovered in weird parts of the world that indicate many completely unknown evolutionary directions taken by this group. So, perhaps what little is known of the origins of the armored dinosaurs is not even standing on firm ground to begin with.

Dinosaur diversity rivals modern mammals

i'd say it surpasses them if it weren't for all the aquatic species

To be fair, even today dinosaur diversity still surpasses mammal diversity, birds are the most diverse group of land vertebrates after all.

@@bolteraptor6641and once the next M-E happens birds WILL be on top, they have most of the generalist niches, both raccoons and Opossums will present a problem but the next era will be the true era of balance. The reptiles then the mammals then reptiles again then mammals again, next time true balance will be achieved.
Dear Edge-y people: love the clear, direct explanation and description of anatomical bits, as well as of the processes involved in the finding, study, and of course, of the initial making of these fossils!
These are interesting additions to this clade
Bro, why you got to make your intros so epic
Why are you using Donkey Kong Country music in the background? I now have the sudden urge to ride a swordfish.

I caught the DKC3 theme too lol
Nice one ~ Fascinating and Educational! Cheers
Amazing, this discovery adds more to our further understanding of Stegosaurs. Stegosaur anatomy is quite diverse and complex, so it's nice to see more diversity within the Stegosaurs. When it comes to Adratiklit Boulahfa's evolutionary history, it really depends, since its placement is quite different compared to other Stegosaurs. Those are just my personal thoughts and opinions.
At this rate we will find a stegosaur in K-PG rock layers.
Adratiklit is apparently the MVP of all thyreopheorans
Natural World Facts has a great video about whalefalls that explains what happens to carcasses on the sea floor. He's also the most ASMR narrator.
Is this convergent evolution with porcupines?
You think you know a class of dinosaurs... then they star lt throwing curve balls at'cha.
