I’ve always found it humorous when realtors say “gourmet/chefs kitchen” in a house that has basically any kind of cooktop other than gas because as both an uncertified chef AND a 30+ year veteran of the food service industry I have NEVER known even just someone who loves cooking (yet alone a true chef) that wants anything in their own kitchen other than a gas stove/cooktop/oven. I know they’re just using certain buzzwords in hopes of drawing more people in, but it’s still funny to me.

For such a big home, kitchen space in small. So is the master, specially master bath. I would make the upstairs all master suite area with sitting area. Better walk in closets and master area, with those two balconies, they look better attached to master b/r.

Good question! It is very specific to each neighborhood. Each one has its own rules and regulations. One think our team provides our clients who have questions like this is the deed covenants, meeting minutes and current budget. No matter the homes location there’s always at least one person screaming that crap. Have you ever been to or seen real estate in even mid-size cities, yet alone major metropolitan areas? You have $20/$30/$40 million (and even WAY higher) homes that are this close or even closer. In NYC and other large cities you are, quite literally, stacked on top of each other. Unless you want to live somewhere out in BFE or Shitsling China you’re going to have neighbors. For a $1 million home in a coastal/resort town you WILL NOT find one without neighbors anywhere in this entire country that I’m aware of.
