Don't compare yourself to social media. Most of it is fake anyway. If you can pay your bills, have clothes on your back, a roof over your head, and take care of your needs. Start looking at your other expenses and ask yourself; “Do I need this or do I want this?”

I started a tour out of Beauford SC.. I ordered salads due to the unhealthy offerings at restaurants. One comment from the group to me was that i was going to die if i continue eating that way. LOL

My mom is 89 & bought into 55 plus community 5 years ago….she’s never been happy in the house my dad built her in 1958 or happy in their retirement home in 1983…. So why would she be happy now! Hard to listen to all the drama for YEARS. Choose your attitude
If Florida was running by democrats everyone would say this is the worse state to live in however since Florida has been running by republicans for decades now they keep saying this is a great state. Florida is the 3rd most expensive state in the country if not 2nd now. Vehicle, home insurance is outrageous. People cannot afford to live here anymore.
Sorry, every city listed has smothering humidity.
I find this similar to being in an HOA
1). I always look for a poured basement over cinder blocks. 2) I look at the roof for dips indicating poor choice of plywood thickness or adequate support beams. 3) Does the yard drain water away from the house. 4) Look for water stains anywhere. 5) Any cracks in the plaster inside of closets? My top 5 list. 🙂

I've long thought that 55 is way too young. I'd just as soon keep my modest urban home and get some tax relief from the city and county. In return we'd eat out more and add to the community economy that way. Stop funding wars and increase social security. As it is, homemakers get screwed on their SS. I'm in my 70's and still work to afford things so that my wife can have some payback for raising our children. Otherwise, I'm very ready to pass along to Jesus.
