Were you not young and dumb and immature at some point? If you see a woman's young and stupid past as if that is who she's going to be for the rest of her life, then you could be losing out on someone who could have been amazing. My wife was that way before me, and I also have a number of friends who were that way and are now mature adults and some are even amazing parents. Judging someone on their past immaturity that you've seen in photos before you even knew them isn't much different than judging a person by the color of their skin.

@@brianrobinson9979 For me personally if a girl has a “hoe phase” or puts an emphasis on sex, shes not for me because I am not raising my children that way. I believe overcoming these impulses is what makes for a fulfilling life. I am by no means perfect and have made mistakes, but I have always wanted to have a family and make sure my children understand things for what they are and in my experience completing things that take large amounts of work, physical or mental, is much more satisfying than quick emotional fixes. This is just how I’ve personally changed my mentality to alleviate the anxiety and depression I previously had due to my schooling and what is now considered social brainwashing I guess.

Not necessarily bad meaning though. Somethings serve as reminders and those reminders are there for you to remember pain or bad times or how you can/have done better. For example, a picture of an ex with a text of her/him snapping at you in a very angry way with little reason behind it. People change, but your heart will remember the pain that has been caused. Besides that though there can be a huge variety of reasons. Not everything is black and white, there is so much gray area there that you should talk it out to a hopefully satisfying conclusion. If you can't talk it out with your partner about that and just leave them for it well...your showing bigger red flag signs then they are.

If you don't like them, delete it, the memories are what you have to remember them and sooner or later they'll become a distant thought, but a picture allows you to keep remembering and never letting go of the past. If they are the past leave them there.

The problem is not having the past, the problem is the hiding of the fact. Nobody has a problem with a general past which is a norm in western society. But still this needs to be revealed before a relationship gets serious from both parties. If someone doesn’t care about the past, It's their choice, but if someone does care about that, it also must be respected. Instead of using terms like insecurity to blame him/her. For example, I would only date to make a family with someone, so I want to have knowledge about the past of my potential life partner. Because it might give me insights about, how she thinks. Whether she likes the promiscuous lifestyle or not, whether she has an attachment or likeness to past bf or not. How many bf she had, if I find a girl who had 2 to 3 or more failed relationships, I would guess that she has a good probability to be the problem of destroying relationships, nobody chooses wrong bf this many times, unless she herself has some problem.

Which means for however long you've been with them they've shown you nothing but great qualities. Additionally he states that men worry more about the past than the future of a mate. This is categorically not true, men don't even behave like this is true. Typically when something is very important to you, you will safeguard your own right? For example if cars are really important to you, you take care of your own car. Great now think of how much sketchy shit guys do while growing up - think of all the sketchy shit that fits into the average guys past. The thing is it was all documented on social media and it would've affected both me and especially our children *when* it would've eventually come out had it not already come out when it did. She tried to pretend it wasn't her (it clearly was) then said it was one occasion which was only on her phone. Which made no sense as I was sent it on my phone from somebody else. Then later said she had sent that *one* video to only *one* person. In the end it was multiple videos. Tbh I was a fool to give her the opportunity to keep lying to me. Once she lied I should have ended it. Thankfully a month later I did. Her arrogance and evil manipulative behaviour came to the fore. You can have these types of women as your children's mother.

Not really, very basic stuff. Would you date a woman who's gonna be an alcoholic, broke and unhygienic in 5 years? That's all you had to ask Myron back to prove not only females care about the future but males it's just a sensible decision for a human to make full stop. Judging someone on what they did 10years ago now that is dependent on what the person did.

I am very happy I married a female not born in America. She still has her values of succeeding in life, and for a better future than her past. She didn't grow up materialistic, and she still isn't. She buys what she needs, not what she wants.
