    Hello, I want to know if I keep the old lenses and the new frames have a pupil distance of less than 2 mm, will it have any effect?

    Oh dear, I'm worried about saying Lasik is an option on elongated eyes. They may think that just because they can see their long eyes are 'cured'. My father's prescription was -5.5, mine was -3.5 and we still had fragile retinas (his was severely detached) and we both got glaucoma. So, that's why I'm sensitive to not giving a clear message about risks...

    Thanks for giving me a chance to clarify. Myopia control is what will decrease the elongation of the eye (1:59). Vision correction procedures only provide glasses-free clear vision (4:09). There are risks and it is stated clearly at 4:17.
