Before the high waters came, I don't recall seeing hardly anyone crossing the bridge. But after the high surge of water came, I saw person after person crossing the bridge. It seemed like it was a dare. Very happy that the bridge was strong enough to withstand all of that water. Life is precious! Appreciate it! There are no guarantees!

i was trecking in Nepal during the monsoon. I am used to mountains since i come from Switzerland. But Nepal, the Himalaya has nothing to do with the Alps. It is huge, it is mighty, and when it rains, it pours and takes everything with it. Truly impressive. The small 1 month treck we did turned into a real adventure with true risk.
