I opened for Mya when I was a teenager and she came to perform in Tucson, AZ she was one of the kindest artist I have ever opened for besides black eyed peas. Mya let us come on to her tour bus and say hi and she was so down to earth and humble. I love you Mya, I will always remember you as nothing but kind and genuine ❤ actions speak louder than words! Mya was awesome in her (and my) day. I met her before a show and she was awesome. I was working at a state fair, I helped with her limo and she tipped me 100 bucks. She always has a spot in my 2000s heart!

I am sorry NO crazy in love and the other singles from Beyoncé’s first solo album were the biggest songs globally 2003/04. no one was bigger than Beyoncé at the time. Shakira maybe was comparable internationally- no r&b artist was as big as b globally. And I don’t think Mya was talking about b but saying no to the big men behind the scene. What she said about protecting her spiritual life and saying no to that - imo she was talking about saying no to sex in exchange for being heavily marketed. Only a idiot would think it Jay doing this alone this been going on before Jay was born in the old days they called it the casting couch. It's been many of actresses that have talked about this that are old or dead. The owner of Motown Berry Gordy was known for it he was messing around with the Supremes mainly Diana Ross and Florence even Ray Charles was known for it so yeah this been going on it's not new and believe it or not Jay has people above him that can flip the switch at any time the entire entertainment industry is run by not us but them unlike Diddy Jay knows how to keep clean and stay out the spot light Diddy had to be in the spotlight all you have to do is watch his show making of the band and see the things he had them to do.

I always loved mya and I still listen to her when I'm not bumping my gospel. Ahead is so classy and powerful a d I love that. Integrity is not talked about enough and needs to be. It's something you have to cherish in life even outside of the entertainment industry.
