Today we're going through 7 days in my magickal practice, what am I doing magickally on a day-to-day basis. I tend to only practice actively when I really need to, so there can be a long gap between when I actively undertake spells and especially, larger rituals. So in the meantime, I enjoy the little aspects of my magickal practice that make every day feel magickal.

This is exactly the type of video that helps so much. Even though my personal practice differs from yours in several big ways, there was still so many good tips and tricks here that I literally took notes. Plus I just love seeing a fellow witch at work. I’m solitary, but it gets a little lonely sometimes.

Hearth, I have been solitary for 30 years and I have a very intense practice. I usually do some working everyday. If nothing else I just take a moment to meditate and place my energy in and around my altar. I also teach and am starting a KZread channel. So the craft is a big part of my daily routine and my life . Blessed be

Fantastic! I’ve been looking for a video like this for so long, and didn’t even know it! It’s super helpful for me to see what really goes down over the course of a regular week or two in someone else’s practice. As for my own practices, I infuse my morning coffee with my intention for the day. I do research for at least an hour or two per week. I do my workings on Mondays because that’s when I have the house to myself. I shield every work day and try to meditate every day for 10-20 minutes. I’m also trying to incorporate pulling a tarot card nightly and I’d like to start doing a full weekly reading for myself. Thank you again, Hearth, for making this video! 😊

You've really inspired me. Currently, my daily practice is finding things outside in the AM to put on my Hecate altar, like red leaves and witch's hat mushrooms. I usually do new and full moon ceremonies but I love working w fire, so I'm going to try something like the zodiac candle. Thank you for this video!

I am new to all this though I was interested in highschool but I had to keep it a secret. I do have one thing I do daily though. In the morning I pull 3 crystals that call to me. I then pick a tarot card for the day I go in thinking what I might need for that day to help me with my intentions. I then take my herbs I ground up and made a big jar of and put a scoop into my dish, I then put in my card behind the herbs, I also place my 3 crystals on the herbs. I let those sit til night on my desk til I burn the herbs at night before bed. I have found it to be quite helpful with me so far and helps me remind myself my intentions for that day and keeps me in tune with my magical side. I also go outside and breathe the air and feel the ground under my feet imagining as deep in the ground to the core of the earth. Then I imagine feeling myself come out of the earth and up into the sky as high as I can til I cant imagine going further. Some days I make it to other planets and some days I just make it into the clouds. I find these things to really help me and I have felt better doing them. Idk how normal any of this is but it works for me.

I love daily tarot, and depending on how I feel every morning, I will draw 1-3 cards, and using my Heart finger (left ring finger) I feel for electricity from each card, and pick the ones that spark under my hand. They tell me what the day will hold, and what I should focus on the most :)

I don't do daily practice because it's difficult for me to maintain a daily activity. I have ADHD so one day I will forget, even if it's something I've been doing 20 days in a row 🥴 So I'd rather do something when the time feels right instead of forcing myself just for the sake of doing something daily. The only practice I've ever done daily for a while is a full 90 day cycle of the Isha Kriya meditation by Sadhguru, parts of which I still use today when needed. At 8:00, I have a small print of the hare artwork on your box 😊 Around 10:00 I'm so not used to seeing you outside that I almost didn't recognize you 😂😂 It's nice to see your normal everyday practice, the stuff I see on Instagram has great aesthetics but looks very time consuming just to get the right look!

I loved seeing this kind of video. It's great to see what a typical witchcraft week looks like for you - and I suspect there are far fewer things on the list than most people would expect. I definitely feel the pressure to do some kind of significant magic daily, but I've settled into a good rhythm for now. My common daily rituals are making my coffee by boiling water in my cauldron and steeping the grounds in a French press, and lighting candles, especially my front stoop candle, every night.

I love that incense burner! I made myself a pentagram this week on wood, and it’s hanging next to my tree of life plate (can’t think of a better word). I too am a cancer. I’ll have to research the right color candle. I’m thinking maybe do this on the same day once a month beginning on my birthday to celebrate my good attributes, but maybe do another day on my sensitivity and taking so much personally. I love your ideas, Hearth. Burning of the tag lock is very similar to what I learned in DBT.

I have a special interest in divination, especially Tarot and Oracle as I've always had an affinity for cards. My daily practice includes always having a divination tool on me and either doing a reading or working on my personal study guides for my decks. I enjoy experimenting with different divination styles and concepts, so I make time to try new tools and methods. Another daily practice is taking a few minutes at least to bask in the sun. My magic is solar based, and I find it extremely helpful to enjoy the morning sun and feel charged. I also come from a religious background, so I find making a daily libation and/or fragrance offering to my ancestors helps me feel grounded. I really only do spellwork when I feel called to and have the appropriate emotional state to make the spell effective. In the winter I do little to no spellwork and use that time to focus on magical study. In the summer when my magical practice is at its height, I tend to find a mundane subject to study. This helps me keep a nice work life balance.

I have 6 mini altars on it- some of them are worked weekly (self love, general prosperity and luck, ancestor altar), some are worked occasionally (moon altar with the cycles) and others are worked daily like my chakra and Sabbat altar! Mind you I work from home and have a lot of free time on my hands 😅

I appreciate that you took the time to show us your weekly things! It really is so helpful to see how other practitioners do stuff on the day-to-day that isn't super curated. For me, at least on weeks when my Executive Dysfunction isn't standing in the way, my practice looks something like this: I try to do an Oracle card pull with the deck I use for self-care every day. On days when I am working (I'm also in content creation), I light candles & incense at my abundance alter as I am starting the day, snuffing any still burning when I am done. Thursdays I work with my money bowl & abundance altar (currently doing a weekly offering of time doing knot magic to make an altar cloth for it). I try to do a bit of kitchen witchery whenever I cook, usually protection magic for my family and home. Outside of that, it is a lot of just working with the moon phases coupled with the day of the week and seasons, figuring out what I feel I need to do. And like you I also try to research and study between workings.

I tend to do divination journalings but doing them everyday can be exhausting but there are times when I'll just pull the cards out daily when I'm going through a particularly anxious time. I find that just shuffling cards helps visualize shuffling my mind and helps to reduce my anxiety tremendously. Sometimes all I need to do is have a deck in my hands to shuffle just for that purpose alone.

Thank you for your video, as someone who doesn't practice much because of my mental health, it is good and reassuring that a witch doesn't have to practice every day! I took some notes especially about the candle spells and I'm interested in trying the zodiac candle, I have one from Star Child (thanks by the way) and I've been wondering about the best way to burn it. That dress while you were reading outside is gorgeous! Where did you find it?! I am looking forward to trying out some of these ideas. I chopped my hair off over a year ago and kept it for something, just can't remember exactly what, 😆 so I have a LOT to work with. I collected over 300 buckeyes this autumn. I agree, it's a geographic term as I'm in midwest US. (I left way more behind than I gathered!) I've given some as luck and memory charms. A few are on my Earth alter. I have plans to use some as offerings to local land spirits and animals during the winter months. I'm looking forward to working more with them around my home. Thank you for your knowledge and insight (pinning the candle is BRILLIANT!). Do you switch out candles if it's purpose is doing a totally different working? I understand preparing down to the pins, just some things (for me) would seem to muddy up if too close together. Do you switch out for color correspondences? Edited to add: Yes, I watched the video, just clarifying as that could mean a lot of candles 😆

I did have a specific question, about the new moon working: should the taglock be one representative of yourself (perhaps in the way of saying “I want to remove this from myself”)? Thank you even if you don’t have an answer you’re a lovely person and wonderful teacher ❤

Great Video! For a Semi-daily ritual, I light a tea candle and Dragon's Blood incense for thanking any helpful entities for their aide that day, along with some basic divination (like a pendulum reading or grabbing a fortune cookie from my cookie jar after lunch). :)

I trace a sigil in my coffee as I stir in my creamer. I also stir clockwise when I am preparing different meals while focusing on my intentions.

It's always interesting to me how people practice day to day vs the very stylized/aesthetic versions you see a lot

I’m new to your channel and to witchcraft. I saw some of your a witch reacts videos and was wondering if you’d review Carlton from the real housewives of Beverly Hills? It’d be a chaotic video, but I think it’d be really interesting!

Wish there were more vids like this cuz I struggle with understanding what I’m reading most of the time. Really would like to see more where visualization isn’t a thing 🤦🏻‍♀️ I can’t visualize so trying to work around that
