Cute kid. "I'm just gonna keep scooting." That's a good philosophy for life. You'd think the builders in that area would know what not to do as far as attracting rattlesnakes into their communities. At least you're trying to educate them...even if they don't always listen.

“I’m just going to keep on scooting “ are words more often of us should live by. It’s a great way to just say “I’m just going to mind my own business.

I started looking around their property thinking of things I learned from your channel like those rock piles and telling them about a snake fence. They said the HOA said no snake fences allowed!

Such a great episode! Bryan's sweet family, & the first time I've seen a snake needing to be dug out of a packrat nest, for excellent reasons, of course. And I was envious of the homeowner who got to hold the gopher snake. Excited to see the videos of your Amazon adventures. Blessings to the whole team.

There are no Circle K’s for snakes around where I live in Mesa…lots of grass. I’ve given our Apt. office your number just in case one is seen here from the neighborhood behind us. They have river rocks and desert landscaping.

I saw a video about another snake company. The person who called the removing compny thought it was a rattle snake. She wondered why it never rattle. It happened to be a puff adder, it came from a truck going to a zoo and it fell out somehow. They are poisonous and look like rattlers.

Long ago I had a pet boa constrictor (might have a different common name now), which got an intestinal sickness directly after I bought it. She changed color, losing the rose-pink sides to a drab & rather dark combination of tones. I got something from a vet, force-fed the medicine & she recovered. Color returned. I also saw her lose color when the bedroom got cooled significantly one day. All the gopher snakes I have seen in eastern Washington have had some cream to corn yellow in their pattern. This gopher snake so cold: might it change some of its color due to dropped temperature?

Glad your boa recoverred. With the wild snakes, however, pale coloration is more regional and genetic. There are some species of snakes that will change color in a variety of conditions, but for gophersnakes as described that's just local variation.
