Yep. I'm one of em too lol. This takes me back man. I miss skating so bad. My health requires me to no longer step on a board & its very sad because that's who I am. Well,a lot of what made me who I am. The entire southern cali skater punk scene was my life since I was 9!!!! What I got from this video is that tony not only revolutionized skateboarding, but he is also the chillest nicest dude out there. I remember watching tony clips as a kid, and he got me into skating. He will be remembered literally forever.

When Tony fell I like to think he forgot for a few mins that he is immortal, then stood up after the realization. Lol.

I was a poor lad growing up, didn’t have much and this one time my Mom and I were walking through a thrift store, no joke a book from across the store with a bright orange cover caught my attention. I walked up to it, grabbed it and to my surprise it was Tony’s book Occupation: Skateboarder. And to my absolute shock, Tony’s autograph was inside it. I got the book for 50 cents and spent my child hood reading and re-reading it. I lost it escaping my abusive step father. I’d give anything to have that book back. I took a lot of inspiration from that book.

Clearly addicted to it, he would just say he'd be fine, and he would know when to quit, but number one rule of a drug addiction, once they say tomorrow they will stop, or they say then can stop, but really that's just the beginning of the addiction.

Just the fact that these two are the coolest people alive & how they signed the photos with passion, I’m buying. Owning post Malone, sum 41, and a few other signed shit are cool but having something signed and purchased with the money going to a good cause is 100% worth it.

Tony, Steve-O, Bam, and Rob Dyrdek are reason I started skating back in the early 2000's.

tony hawk and steve-o - my childhood heros🥺 i got to ride on tony's boat and spent a 4th of july with him one year, he used to be my aunts neighbor and was the nicest guy! i remember being so nervous around him haha. and then steve-o was a huuuge inspiration for me to get sober in 2013 after years of suffering from a heroin addiction. im 29 and still look up to them both so so much, these videos just make me happy man

I played as Steve o the most while I never found out that I was playing as Steveo

Tony Hawk is such a chill nice dude. He always says yes to everything, i see him as a guest on a loooot of stuff and he's always super nice. Feel like people think he's overrated but he's just doing him and he's a dang legend.

I could listen to all these throwback stories over and over

I really enjoy the videos Steve! And props to the editors , it’s very smooth.

The craziest part about this is old Ryan Sheckler.

Tony is from my home town Carlsbad Ca. After he became huge, I was skating this ditch off of El Camino Real with my buddies. I was 17 I believe back in 86’ 87’? We had already seen “The search for animal chin” a dozen times haha All of a sudden. Hawk and his buddies came rolling up on us and took over! It was insane. They made this crappy ditch look like the gnarliest half pipe you’d ever seen! None of us dare drop in after they took over haha.

Not everyone in the skating community likes him, I don't know why. They probably think that other skating legends should be getting more publicity. It's a bit of a strange community at times.
