I miss Viceland, it was an attempt at a channel branded like early 2000's grown up, or how they grew up. Unfortunately they became my fav channel and then went under. They were a fucking content goldmine and nobody was paying attention, it hurts me in particular that Nirvana the Band the Show has been in limbo since the channel dissolved.

There's something so nostalgic about this footage. Seeing all the guys so young and what has happened 22 years later especially with Ryan still alive at this point so young enjoying his life with his friends. Bam looks really healthy and young too. Really is a shame what has happened to both of them since. I guess seeing Steve o in a much better place now is good to see

I took tony hawk for granted because I grew up watching him. As an adult I can see that he’s way more incredible than I thought.

@d7 He was in a car accident not too long ago and suffered a Subdural Hematoma (bleeding brain), he went through rehab and is resting before getting back on the bike again. Wish him a speedy recovery, he is a true superhuman as depicted in this clip.

It's honestly insane that Tony Hawk and Mat Hoffman, both at the peak of their professions, risked serious injury to participate in a 4 minute segment for a TV show!

Legendary

I love how Tony has that gigantic smile on his face in the beginning. You can tell the behind the scenes shenanigans were getting good and he was laughing his ass off not long before filming.

Everything about this was awesome. The uncertainty, the wipeouts, the lifeguard, the "everyman" experience with Bam, the triumph and then the chicken suits.

I think Tony Hawk could have been an athlete in any sport with the right focus. Guys balance and ability to adapt to each thing is unbelievable.

Idk why I'm replying to this old ass comment but almost definitely not, unless by "sport" you mean like, darts or bowling or billiards. Most sports you need very unique skill sets for. Tony Hawk wasn't exactly going to be a top notch NFL or FIFA player. Baseball is incredibly, incredibly hard and most minor leaguers never crack a major league roster. He may have been very good at hockey, since it's a lot of balance and hand-eye. Other than that, I doubt he could have pursued that type of sport in a serious manner.

3:56 I love the look up Tony gives at the very end before it fades to black after Knoxville says "Two ugly chickens". It's like Tony thought "Who are you calling ugly?"

I played Tony hawk games, I played Matt hoffman games I watched Jackass, This was a great moment when I watched it on TV, great memories of a simpler time

I remember the "Pro Bmx"-games. Was my childhood.

I get so excited when I see Brandon DiCamillo in these old vids

I cannot believe how fast time flies. I was in middle school.

Probably the 2 of the most inspirational people living Matt hoffman and tony hawks never let fame get a hold of them still the same till this day

they shouldve shown the next day where bam goes back to try again an keeps slamming until Dunn and Knoxville make him stop.

Knoxville's shocked laughter at Hoffman's gratuitous backflip was hilarious on it's own.
