MY TWO YEAR NATURAL HAIR JOURNEY AFTER MY BIG CHOP: HOW LONG DID IT REALLY GROW ( Hair Update )
In this video, I'm sharing my two year natural hair journey after my big chop. How long did it really grow? And what did I learn along the way?
After my big chop, I was worried about how my hair would hold up. Would it revert back to its natural texture 2 years after my big chop? Would I have to start from scratch?
In this video, I'm sharing with you my 2 year afro journey, from start to finish. I'll show you how my hair grew, what I learned along the way, and how you can too!
Hope you enjoy this hair update as much as I do!

If you don’t mind me asking, I wash my hair every 2 weeks, does that mean I deep condition every 2 weeks as well or once a week? And how often should I moisturize my hair? I have 4b hair
@kozact
Жыл бұрын
Yes, you deep condition your hair every two weeks or once a month, and moisturizing, your hair is just gonna be dependent on how much moisture your hair needs, if your hair tends to be dry, you would moisturize your hair more often … if your hair is oily you would moisturize it less often… I’d say a safe bet is usually every two or three days But in some cases, some people moisturize your hair every single day So it’s really mainly dependent on your hair specifically and what you feel it needs

Love all your vid just started my hair journey five months ago and wondering if you have advice on what I should do
@kozact

Around 5 months you hair should be starting to get to a point where it getting long enough to braid , id recommend starting to get it put in a protective style, cornrows a great for starter braids Watch my video on the best protective styles for natural hair I think it will help: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eI51y8eTqJi6gbQ.html

What products should I use
how much times do you recommend i wash my hair a week i kinda have a small afro (can’t be braided but can be twisted)
U should react to fans hair growth journeys and give tips for a video
This may seem like a silly request but have you ever made a video on detangling your hair in the shower? Whenever I attempt to do so, even if I'm extra careful, I lock up my curls again after detangling them with a pick; it feels as if I'm not getting the product (shampoo particularly) thoroughly into my hair in the places it needs to be. I've also been thinking about re-twisting my hair by myself; I wanted to know if you've ever done it and the process you'd used?

Use a detailing brush, not a pick.
When is the skincare coming?
I just hit year 3 on March 1
how do you make your afro hang over the fade?
I have a small fro but I’m not sure what kind of protective style I can do, just cause it’s small…
Dawg how did your barber cut ya sides without even cutting your sides Or did he just pull ya hair up and then cut?
I found you recently after I cut off some freeforms (high topish) going for an afro this time

@drayott-jr
Жыл бұрын
@@danemillers169 really depends on what you're looking for.. you want dreads or just like an afro? Afro, you should go full head equal and dreads you should check out a drop fade since its probably one of the best type for it Really depends what you're looking for

@@drayott-jr for dreads you dont need a haircut, just get a fullhead. but if u want your dreads to look better get a cut
Wat I don’t understand is dat I hve more hair than him but if I was to comb it out normally it would be way shorter Dan his fro if dat makes sense
Hey bro I think I been growing my hair for 6 months now can it cornrow
How do you recommend I grow my hair in the natural afro state and avoid breakage? I don't want to braid it
@kozact
Жыл бұрын
I’d say the best way to protect your hair without braiding it is to be very gentle and detangling your hair, so you want to make sure your properly detangling your hair or finger detangling your hair I have a video on it : kzread.info/dash/bejne/n6pnk6N-ZtHUfco.html I would also say it’s very important to make sure that you’re protecting your hair when you sleep , so wearing a bonnet or some sort of hair wrap
