I second @fetzie23's suggestions (especialy Morten Hilmer) but would add Steve Perry, Jan Wegener, Duanne Patton, Seth Mirander, Nigel Danson, Henry Turner to name a few.

I got my Black Rapid strap because of you. It's absolutely invaluable when carrying two cameras: one with a 24-70 and the other with the 70-200 for instance.

Same here, on your recommendation.
Matt, as a Sony shooter, I am very close to purchasing a Z8 with a 500mm pf. Sony makes nothing like it in the same piece range without ridiculous restrictions.
The nitrate gloves used as an underlayer is pretty damn clever. Gonna hold onto that tip.
Those filters look really interesting. I would like to see a video for street photography. Great video -- really good presentation and well paced. No other photographers come to mind but I am sure you have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to other photographers.

Thanks - I have reached out to some street photographers - hopefully I can include some soon
Any other millionaires out there. Seriously just kidding. I would love to have this gear Z9 and 400/2.8 but the other half would kill me and also the wallet would break. Thanks for the useful tips that we don't think about other than the camera gear we take away. Cheers Matt

I'm looking for some works to allow me to afford a needed hard drive to help me have space to do things to get back on track in life, any millionaire can offer me some works for some bucks will be appreciated! :-)
thanks for the advice on the straps! they would be great for my hicking trips
Great video. Never knew my box of lens wipes had a drop front. I have been retreiving them through the top. Thanks. That is going to be a "game changer."
Monopod: I recently purchased the Craig Kemberly monopod gimbal for my Z9/400 camera and lens. Like the large tripod gimbal, this new device is crazy good. For about $180 you can't beat it.
I’d love you to feature Roman Fox. Thanks Matt.
Think I’ll pick up 2 of those 400mm lenses. 🥹

Instead of two 400mm lenses, I purchased one 400mm f/5.6 lens and one 500mm f/4 lens. The 400 is perfect when I need to carry something smaller and lighter in weight. The 500 is perfect when I need to carry something longer and optically faster.

Awesome. Enjoy mate!
Good to travel with chocolate 🍫
That 400 2.8 is one serious lens!! I also don't believe in UV or protection filters.
You would look good in a Bogart Fedora!
Something I never see anymore is a comparison of the optical quality of filters. I would very much like to see a comparison of the most popular professional filters. I tried magnetic rings many years ago that go on the lens and filter. You could use your favorite brand of filter. I only use CPL and ND filters. And, by then I had accumulated filters in all the filter sizes that I use. But, I still think magnetic mounts are a brilliant idea.

Hi Matt, I enjoyed your video. Just a quick comment about QD connectors. Don't trust them! Always use the provided safety strap. They need to be oiled on a regular basis to stop the little spring loaded balls in the connector from jamming. Tried the Black Rapid with the built in QD and had my equipment crash to the ground a couple of times before switching back to the regular screw in connectors. They used to carry a strap with the QD built in for Black Rapid but they have since pulled that from their catalogue. Hmm... wonder why?

Thanks. What brand of QD connectors have you used? The promediagear ones I am using seem rock solid: geni.us/PMGQD

Do yiu use iohone or android as your personal and photography phone, which model and any feature can be only done on one over the other? Sony Xperia 1 VI has 2X macro, do you think is it essential and there is artistic shot cab be achieve in macro world other than pattern education stuffs to take into consider when getting a phone because you can google these if you want to learn more about tiny world, artistic shots like street photography will have more variation that's unique to you and havnt achieved out there?

Usually don't care for 'What I'm Packing' type vids...but you buried some very good info about the Z9 in this one. Coming from a Z8 & Z9 household I've always appreciated the features of the Z9. It is indeed a better (not by much) camera than the Z8. Interesting you have shot in desert climates and not been able to get the Z9 to overheat, but indicated the Z8 will. I shoot in the mild Pacific Northwest and have never had an overheating situation with my Z8, but never have put it under real heat stress shooting. Absolutely do not regret my Z8 purchase, but it truly is not a Z9- Thanks for the info!
No Sony camera :(
