Not sure if you guys are following, there will be a third movie called 28 years later. With the original director and writers, and with Cillian Murphy.

AR in 5.56/G 19/10-22, very large fixed blade or short sword for close encounters. I'd probably have to keep my S&W 586 for backup, just because its been so many miles with me since i bought it new 35 years ago.

I agree with your setup except for your short sword substitute that for a Flanged mace because your sword would get stuck in a zombie and you'd be left without a Melee weapon a Flanged mace while yes being viewed as a "less lethal version of a sword" in reality isn't that does damage to the skull to the point of brain hemorrhaging and with your opponent being a foe that can only be killed with extreme destruction of the skull a mace or hammer is your only reasonable option

Nice set up. Mine would probably be a suppressed Mp5 chambered in .22, a 9mm pistol and a 12g shotgun. My melee would a be Gerber downrange tomahawk and a trench knife.

12 gauge was my first thought - reloading is slower, less capacity, but #4 buck and slugs ought to take care of everything.

They make shotguns with magazines, it would cut down on reload time, but add a lot more weight.

Great choices, only thing I would want to do differently really is thread and add a suppressor to the 10/22 to reduce alerting other Zs. I'd prefer a basic machete to double as a tool, but a spear is superior for sure. Though heavy, a sledge hammer or wrecking bar might also be good options for melee as they double as tools to break barriers and get into places, no need of sharpening. The shotgun will help obtain wild game of many types to supplement food supplies, love a scatter gun's versitility.

Yes absolutely a suppressor would work wonders! All good points. Ideally we would have a home base where we could store all our tools and just bring out the ones necessary when scavenging.

My load out would depend on what my plans are. Am i trying to get away from heavily populated areas and plan on survivng in the woods. Or am i stuck in an urban environment, and have to make do with whats in the city. My urban load out would probably be a g19 paired with a ruger pcc. Keeping my load out light so i could move quickly. My other two firearms would be an ar10, and a 12 gauge that I'd keep stashed nearby to deal with the mutant zombies. I would also keep a crowbar on me as my melee, and breaching tool. My woodland load out would probably be a 357 revolver, a 12 gauge, ar15 and rugers 10/22. My melee this time would be a machete. It being less populated i dont expect to deal with as many zombies, but still wanted a few guns that could deal with a bear.

Bro your scope height over bore is simply outrageous with that 10-22.

You should have a flintlock for long term. Are they ideal for zombies? No not really. But you can find or create everything you need for it in the field (lead ball, powder, patch), basically forever, long after you run out of traditional ammo.

You also have to have cat sniffing zombie detector.

I like your choices, well thought out and constructed to meet the threat. I would toss the bird shot and use heavy game loads in #4 or #6 loads but would prefer turkey loads or buckshot. Slugs would be needed to take down large threats. I am not sure that .22 Long Rifle can always be relied upon to penetrate a skull but 22 magnum or .17 HMR definitely will that would be my long gun. I would carry a silenced 9mm instead of two pistols. I like the other choices in the comments as well for melee weapons a hammer is a good one multiple uses, breaker bar, machete would be ideal and I would carry at least two of these or all three. I think a simple heavy duty walking stick would be better than a pike because you don't have to worry about it getting stuck in a body. Just some thoughts but again against the threat you invision your choices are ideal. One last thought you may have to deal with a human threat as well so I would plan accordingly.

All good points my man 👍🏻 I would definitely prefer 22 magnum if I had the guns and ammo for it. Hammer is also a good idea for those skull shots. I’m just always trying to stay as far away as possible from these things bc I know one bite or scratch and it’s all over. 🧟‍♂️

1993 F150 single cab 4x4 with a bed topper. M&P 2.0 in 9mm. Smith and Wesson FPC. Mag interchangeability has been reached. Then I would have an 870 with a red dot. And a marlin model 60 for securing dinner. I don’t need anything long range because I don’t plan on sniping zombies for no reason. The goal is to avoid zombies not invite them to a party. SOG seal pup as my knife, and a good ol machete with some grip tape on the handle. Also since I have a truck there’s gonna be a youth wooden bat with a couple lag screws in it and at least another pistol. Probably the Glock because they’re so common and I would probably find more Glocks in the “wasteland”

Good choices, I like the shotgun, .22 is good, .223/5.56 would also be good as, I’m a PCC fan also. The zombies aren’t the only threat to consider 😉 What movie was that in the beginning?

Thanks! Yes all good choices you have! I tried to skirt by with zombies being the only thing this load out would be used for. But reality is other humans would be biggest threat. That was one of the later Res evil movies.

Glock 44 (22lr), keltec ksg, ar15, and ruger 10-22. Also a machete on my side.

Pair of FN57s, FN P90 carbine, 5x Claymore mines, Yari ( a little more elegant than a pike and pairs nicely with katana)

It would vary on what the goal is. If I have an established home base an AR10 would be my go to. It’s heavy and the ammo is heavy, but you can stash a lot of it strategically and also reach out and touch somebody. If I’m on the road, G19x, AR15 with a scope/combo, and a machete. With a heavier sidearm being a G20 with hard casts.

The super human zombies the don’t die with pistol headshots. LOL I wrote that before I saw your first pick. I am thinking shotgun, 308, or recently the idea of an large caliber airgun. Large caliber, silencer, no primer or power, all sent to your front door. Maybe load the pellets with explosive.

I tell you, the Gewehr 98 with a bayonett is the best weapon because you can even use it even withou ammo

Love it! The only disagreement I have is with the katana. Yes, it’s awesome and effective and silent, but it also has its cons. A katana needs to be maintained and kept sharpened, which would be hard to do while constantly on the run, while a normal club needs no maintenance. And with a katana, you would have to get a decapitation EACH TIME, which would be difficult, while a club works just fine with a swift blow. Also, it’s not really a good idea to have a long blade always covered in zombie blood, bc you can get infected with one cut on your own blade. But you can’t cut yourself on a club. Don’t get me wrong, a katana would be great to have for intimidation, human stealth kills, and just clearing pathways through lush areas, but it’s not the best against zombies.

Thanks man! Your zombie blood on the blade and infection is a very good point. I think with a good katana you wouldn’t need to sharpen it too often bc they hold a good edge. It could also be used as a machete through the woods like you said but then it would need more sharpening more often. I prob would not try to decapitate any zombie bc it would be rather hard to do like you mentioned. I’d rather stab and katanas are not the best stabbing. My ideal weapon is the spear bc of that stabbing effect and length. But I cannot deny a good club like a baseball bat would be a good substitute. Especially for taking zombie knees out. Always fun talking about this subject ❤️

Keep a scope on the Ruger but change it to a well built but inexpensive weaver v3...as far as main ammo for the shotgun I believe #4 buck would be best all around, more range and penetration. Those along with a bayonet type knife like the Swiss STG 57...maybe even a modified framing hammer.

following your structure my weapons would be 22 pistol Kel-tec CP33, 9mm pistol FN 509 with 24 round mags, 22 rifle 11/22, shotgun Kel-tec KSG, melee Bec de Corbin front spike, side spike and hammer, suppressers for all the guns

Great setup! I know those keltec pistols will hold way more rounds than the standard .22 pistols would.

12 gauge all day I agree with your list I feel the same way accept the katana. I think I would use an m9 bayonet you can put that on your 590 and at this point it becomes a spear

#1 beker bk9 #2 Gerber Downrange tomahawk #3 marlin 357 lever gun #4 Taurus tracker 357 4inch #5 FN m16 collectors edtion Rifle with 1-6 vortex scope #6 Ruger lcp 22lr #7 Cold steel Ti-lite 6" stiletto - my focus is being as lethal as possible to all threats, and still be able to do survival/camp tasks, not getting into fights past 300m, the revolver and lever gun can both use 38 or 357 and serves very well as a bush gun for hunting

AR is a good medium to long range rifle. 9mm pistol. Short 12ga.

Cold steel Native American gun stock club it clobbers things and it can be thrown and it doesn’t take long to get good at doing so with it.Ar15 pistol 10.5/11.5 and I would probably run iron sights it’s small and pretty lightweight for the level of firepower mags ammo and parts are everywhere. 9mm pistol whatever you prefer I like my cz but my canik holds the most rounds so that would be a hard choice for me both very easy to shoot very reliable again ammo in the states is everywhere. And I would go with my little 22 pistol I have a revolver but I would be looking to upgrade during my travels for something with a threaded barrel hell you can make a 22 suppressor it’s the zombie apocalypse I don’t think the atf’s rules apply anymore. And in my pocket my otf knife. I like the shotgun but I have that same one in the 500 series and it’s long and kinda cumbersome and I know the 590 series is stouter and heavier then the 500 series lot of stopping power limited rounds something to consider heavy ammo to.and I would hate to carry it all day.

Why would you pick two .22 caliber firearms instead of just one? I'd rather just have a few of each caliber just to be safe. 12 gauge shotgun 5.56 rifle .22 pistol 9mm backup pistol

My choices... 1. Glock 17, 19, 22, or 23. (Primary pistol.) 2. Springfield XD9 Sub-Compact (Back up pistol.) 3. AR-15 in 5.56. (Battle rifle.) 4. A semiautomatic .308 rifle (such as an AR-10 or Springfield M1A) as my long ranged rifle. At least. [I can dual wield the 2 pistols I have or have the Glock of my choice in a conversion kit (such as a CAA MCK) with the XD pistol as my side arm in case I don't have any of my mentioned rifles yet if SHTF. My Glock would run +P ammo in 9mm (along with 40 S&W and .357 SIG if I go with the G22 or G23) while the Springfield XD would be my side arm.]
