Just don't talk about his draw length.
Dang- watching this, while sitting on the couch drinking iced tea…. Yeah, I’m almost ready-
A bag of wood stove pellets works great inside a sandbag, it fills out the bag nicely and it's cheap. Thanks for all the free info you and the boys pump out!
I have asked in the past for some workouts and you have not disappointed. Great video, now I just have to do it!

Get it get it!
That was an awesome programmed workout. I would also add in a single arm farmers carry to the step back lunge, step up combo. Carrying the bow in your hand, hunting probably doesn't get much attention when training.
Truly respect your passion and dedication

Thank you G!
Great tips Dan thank you. I am coming from a long way back. Had a heart attack 10 months ago. I recently went into my local pro shop to test a new bow & couldn’t pull a 50lb bow. I hadn’t realized just how much muscle strength I’d lost. The shop recommended rowing as a way to regain my strength. It just so happens the cardio rehab program I’m in has rowing machines as well as the Assault Bike. I’ve been rowing 20 minutes a session 3 times a week & will now add the Assault bike to my routine. I have a bug-out-bag to do the box steps & lunges at home. I aim to get back to the my pro shop & buy that new bow when I can pull the weight again.

Thats awesome, Kevin, keep pushing forward in the fox hole. I am almost 2.5 years post open heart surgery to repair 2 valves. my goal was to get out to CO from TN or a DIY solo archery elk hunt, which I was able to do last September. Keep up the progress.

@@chadwickprice3761 Thank you for the encouragement. That is great you could get a hunt in after your health problems.
Pleasantly surprised I’m already incorporating three of the five expertises you recommended. Thanks for cutting the crap out and keeping it all about business. See you on the trail.
Thanks to you, we are getting. Concept 2 after I showed it to wifey. It is actually a piece also recommended by fitness trainers for people like our oldest daughter who has CP. Can't wait to add this to my routines as we have literally everything else in the garage gym. Mixing this with the Assault Bike is gonna be brutal, and I can't wait.

Thank you for the video, and helping us with some more exercises to help our health.
Awesome! I'm going to do this and be ready next season! Thank you!

Beast!!!
Sold on the fan bike! TY for the info always.
Bringing out the Shape part of ElkShape. I really like it. 💪🏻😎🏹 Continue to Seek Discomfort. 😥
Assault bikes are the BEST. Soul snatchers for sure. But the best!
That's a really nice gym!
After being an athlete for over 45 yrs, and then getting hit by a car on my motorcycle, it amazes me what I can and cannot do these days as a (injured) senior of 67 years. Leg work is out altogether for me due to my accident, but even chin ups are a no go, my shoulders just won’t tolerate that anymore. Again, as someone who has trained, very hard and at an elite level, it certainly is frustrating. But…never give up!

All runners, of every age, in a transalp runner study, increased thickness in achilles tendon during the race. You know what this means? You either choose to quit when you get old, or you don't, but your body has no set point or age for not healing. Don't be a pussy.
Let’s go!!!
As a PT, I love this stuff.

Rad! Super stoked.
This video couldn’t have come at a better time. Just ordered a a V3X 33 at 75lb 😕

You can adjust the weight via the limb bolts if it is too much. I went with 75lb mods, but I couldn't shoot as much as I would like without fatigue so I dropped it.

@@cloudpandarism2627 I also did not want to create bad habits straining to pull that weight after time. If I could pull it consistently all day like I can 70lbs I would do it. It is actually surprising how big a difference that 5lbs makes. I say shoot what is comfortable for you.
@jesselost05420

@@cloudpandarism2627 Oh a lower weight is definitely where it is at if you are just starting. When I first started I was at 60lbs and I did that for a good 6 months or so until I got my form down. It also helps build those muscles for drawing the bow back, especially since they may be muscle groups that you are not used to using. If your bow is moving up and down a lot, you may need to tinker with your stabilizer weight set up. I get more up and down movement as I get fatigued though so it could be normal for you depending on how tired you are. Just keep at it!! Super fun sport to get in to even if you are just shooting targets.

On average how long are your workouts? I definitely do more cardio than lifting.
Now I want to see some workouts to help in knee high swamp mud.
Thank you for this.
👍🏼 thanks
the butt (insert alt. name here) bike is a freaking vampire!
my heels keep popping out of the rower cups (Same rower brand you have, older model prob). I noticed you don't have the straps very tight, any tips would be appreciated!
How could you turn these 5 exercises as a workout?
