Wow! Absolutely amazing! I'm a total noob. First wetsuit in the spring. Snorkelling over the summer. Have managed to grab a couple of lobsters. First was a little undersized and missing a claw so I let it go. The 2nd flapped its tail when I got it to the surface and I dropped it in a panic, lol. Still looking forward to my first take-home. Yesterday at Dunbar I was floating on the surface eying up a rocky area and got a start from a razorbill swimming (flying underwater?) past me just a few feet away. Just stunning. It was only ten feet from a school of a thousand sand eels, if only it knew. Maybe one day I'll get to see the gannets diving, though don't fancy getting in their way. I'm hooked and you're an inspiration. Best, Mark

@@JoePkSpearfishing It was a stellar dive, bud! 14° water, 4m vis, sunny all day, with moderate wind out of the SSW. Nailed a few excellent shots on some Cunner, was diving to abt 20m for over a min all day with 22lbs going negative at about 11.5m, forcing my DD to be super clean but made the ascents a breeze. Was wet for over 6 hours and abt 40 dives or so. Very beautiful dive!

Hi Joe, The one you say it is an angler fish, isn't really a Monk fish(Lophius)? They are very tasty to eat... kind regards

I think so... I thought they were the same! Afraid I'm not an expert in that field...

Great stuff, been longing for a whale dive for some years now;) Why didn't you take the monk fish home for dinner? Here in Norway they are considered a delicacy, given that you find one big enough.

The octopus was actually filmed in northern spain, though there are more and more off UK coast every year.

Was hoping the whole way through that the seahorse would take the top spot
