He wouldn't just let her buy them. The jewels she gave him were the albums that went, gold, platinum, and diamond. Her stolen lullabies were her songs that he sold to Scooter, whom she detested. Taylor had been with Scott's label since she was a teenager and regarded him as family.

The song starts at a funeral, a cremation signifying the death of a relationship. This is a love song sung with bitterness about someone she loved deeply but, it didn't work out. She left him. Now he's regretting losing her but, he's not owning up to it, to his feelings or, to his part in the break up. He's pretending it was all her fault "the hero flying around saving face" not admitting to his side of what happened. She's calling him out like, if you don't care then why are you here "cursing my name, wishing I stayed? Look at how my tears ricochet" That means the tears she once cried over him have now bounced back because he's now crying over her. They've turned into his tears. A ricochet usually refers to an object, like a bullet that's fired and bounces back injuring the shooter. It's not written for Borchetta or Scooter Braun. She hates those lowlifes and would never in a million years write a love song to them. The only sentiments she has for them is this: "F*ck you forever."
