Get yourself a compressor limiter and play with it. You will be blown away at what it can do for you. Your a better bass player than you think!

@MikeFrozt Its a 4 ohm cabinet, so I only have the option to run it at 4 ohms. If you have only one 8 ohm cabinet, then you're only getting 550 watts out of the amp. Try getting another 8 ohm cabinet. That should do the trick. 8 ohms + 8 ohms = 4 ohms. Which should be able to handle and use all 750 watts the amp is capable of. Thanks for watching!

The SWR 750x does 850 watts at 2.6 ohms. That is one 8ohm cab and one 4ohm cab! I used one with a henry the 8x8 and 115 and it simply KILLED! lol

Ever have an issue with this set up? Im actually purchasing one, kinda looks like the exact same cab, head and even hard case Im looking at. Your not in Ohio are ya?

@MikeFrozt I would have a 4 Ohm 4x10 and and a 8 Ohm 1x15 in order to get the right amount of watts to the drivers. Cheers.

swr has been crap since fender bought the name...I have a 500 and what a piece of shit...the people at fender were patronizing and uninformed about their own product....amp-wise, fender was never much good...their bassman amps did win some fans back in the 70s, as a second guitar amp, not as a bass amp. hah...

+sinn catha yeah I have a 120 combo that I got from my uncle, sounds amazing.

I have an swr that has seen more than 5 tech visits and STILL does not work properly...it is the most unreliable amp I have ever seen, much less owned. The first tech threw up his hands and quit (after FOUR attempts to repair this turd of an amp)...the second tech talked a big game and has (in two attempts) failed to repair the load of crap. One tech refused to even look at it after I gave him the repair history, he said "take it to a gold level tech". Their gold level tech wants an additional charge up front....FUCK fender amps.

Why the effects? Are you not so good?
