Expedition also gives you lots of essences! They are not Shrieking+ tier, but you need to invest into Essences on the tree to get those anyway.

Also true yeah! Expedition is all around probably one of the better mechanics because you can get lots of items from other leagues

Thanks for sharing :) Betrayal and Harvest early in HC, I would be scared of these mechanics personally. But again, not a HC player.

No worries! and yeah it all depends on what you play. Harvest I usually use the cover in the maps to try and hide a bit xD. Once I'm geared it's not much of an issue. Betrayal I do at the start of every league. Don't have any issues with it since I've got lots of physical mitigation

I think instead of taking blight and going towards the center I believe rushing unwavering vision to temporarily have a ton of passive points to really invest in expedition and get 100% chance, go in do exped kill map boss and go next is my gameplan.

fair enough, sounds like a decent plan but getting 100% expedition chance is achievable without it imo. I'm definitely not going to do this because then you can't drop scarabs. I'm super excited to use the new scarabs especially in SSF. That's the beauty of the atlas though, you can do whatever you want :D

@@everseenTV You'd be able to rush the expedition nodes, which is worth it. I'll respec later but going into reds with exped every map seems too good for league start as the exchange is based on character XP not tier of map and your progression through the atlas is going to be a little slower. Normally I am mid 80's when doing eater/exarch, i'll probably be 90 now with the removal of wandering. I have a feeling setting up one of the other atlas's for scarab farming would be much better allocation of time and efficiency once the atlas is fully unlocked. Not trying to argue just what my logic is. Also stacked decks aren't as common in this patch so when it comes to tujen rerolling your currency will go a lot further I think.

Sure man, the Righteous Fire Chieftain is really nice for new players. It's pretty tanky and the damage is decent. I have another video showcasing it but Pohx is the one to really look at. His builds are great ant taught me everything i know basically

My humble opinion is that people seem to be forgetting the league mechanic adds a level of difficulty … they will understand the league mechanic by the time they get to maps… but it might be necessary to take the “make it easier” league mechanic nodes in the lower left corner of the atlas tree. Since the league mechanic can’t be skipped … and depending on everyone’s build… corrupted rare (red) maps with league mechanic and with map sustain pressure (without wandering path) might make atlas progression a nightmare in trade … I can’t imagine what HC SSF is going to be like 🥵

Yeah man, I'm thinking the progression is going to be slower overall. I'm going to patient and take my time, not take too many rippy mods with league mechanic until I've got my defences sorted. That's a good strategy though to take the monsters do less damage. I haven't thought about that mod in a long time

@@everseenTV oh I actually meant the league mechanic nodes in the lower left… reduced effect of haunted monsters and greater chance for devoted monsters… but wellspring of creation might also be good for red maps also 🤔 (depending on how strong my character is in red maps) …. But if the league mechanic is a challenge from level 70-80 while mapping taking the devoted modifier effect, haunted modifier effect, devout pursuit … should make it less rippy doing red maps early in mapping (or even when you take your time) idk just something I am having a backup plan to path to …

Since you are starting as BAMA. how are you going to get the bow without the essences?

My mind has changed a bit on essences since seeing the new scarabs. My initial thoughts were that essences were nerfed into the ground. This doesn't seem to be the case. In the video though I planned to be near the essence nodes for the sole reason of taking them if I changed my mind. So yeah, you are totally right. I'm going to have to do essences haha :)

I'm so mad you went left side on Kirac wheel without showing if it was before or after the change xD u didn't even accidentally mouseover one single small node so i can't tell lmao...because left side small nodes are not "your maps have 2% chance to grant an additional Kirac Mission on Completion", these are moved to the right side. ( im talking about 02:42 timestamp )

lol yeah sorry I only noticed that they changed it until after this video. Either way I would still go that side since you get 60% more scouting reports anyway. Next league I plan to go fully into kirac taking almost every node to get 26% chance for missions. So much easier for atlas completion

@@everseenTV I did all Kirac nodes on league start trade, tbh I wasn't too happy about it :/ felt like a waste....middle ones yeah, I started ssf but LA Deadeye so I should kinda do Legions, but you sold me on Blight early to be honest :p I know I won't be rushing 20 passive keystone, scarabs are too good :D

@doomzx8284 oh really, hm maybe the nodes are just better placed into early expedition. But yeah Blight is awesome for league start, really good for currency and chaos recipe! I enjoyed it last league in SSF (gave lots of unmaking orbs too) I got quite a bit of lag in blight this league so I haven't been doing it as much :/ having some PC troubles.

@@everseenTV Damn...yeah but 4 points for just very high chance of blight in general is nice on start to get some early anoints/oils going, not so much worried for curency if i go Tujen/Rog ^^

scouting reports suck without getting kirac chance first.

Not really, they're completely unrelated tbh. Scouting reports are dropped in maps and kirac mission chance is only applied when you kill the boss of a map to get a chance at getting a kirac mission. Also, Kirac missions don't use any of the points applied on your atlas
