I mean monuments golds are pretty good as is. I did notice there was a world of difference between one agitator and adding in a half dozen. That extra mixing in the bottle was a game changer!

@@donalds1083 Oh nice! I’m in Australia so it’s hard to come by. I have pre ordered from my local a couple sets. I’ve heard the Metallics are quite nice so I may have to grab some! I’ll try the golds for your recommendation. They do a nice brass at all?

@@terrydactyl2077 They don't really have a true brass, but their bronze and light bronze are a really good starting point for mixing bronze/brass tones. A 50:50 mix is similar to GW runelord brass (but much nicer), and a little of their rich gold or bright gold will tint it toward an orange or yellow brass.

Same! I use Paynes grey all the time for canvas painting and I'm stoked to have it in a mini paint!

That Dark Magenta glaze at the end is a really nice touch.

So glad there's finally a mini-painting oriented Payne's Gray, and happier it's in the Pro Acryl range that I already own MOST of. I just grabbed the Golden High Flow version in the last few days. Thanks for all you do Vince. Best prof. of mini painting ever.

I ordered this set no brainer just for the Payne's Grey and Royal Purple, insane stuff great company and I'm so happy to see you work with them.

So excited that you and John got to craft your own unique sets! This opens the door for other famous hobbyist to possibly work with Monument or other paint brands and create a whole new level of paint sets. Sets that can be bought with confidence knowing their favorite hobbyist were behind the crafting of said paints. I've never owned pro acryl paints but I definitely want to pick these up to show support and also expand my paint range

Jon may have gotten his video out first, but you did an amazing job showing off both paint sets. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on these because you both selected some amazingly useful paints.

That white blue is absolutely stunning and has convinced me to use as the secondary colour for my custodes, shields, shoulder pads etc. To top that off, that beautiful purple is for the cloth!. It's a deeper looking colour that it wont scream emperors children. *chefs kiss*.

Payne's gray! We have a Payne's Gray! I love you, Vince and I love Monument Hobbies (and Ninjon as well). I found MH because of your original review of their brushes and I've been in love ever since. Picked some of these up and I was NOT dissapointed. Loved them.

Hey Vince - I bought these and can confirm the beige red is awesome. It's the best flesh undercoat I can recall using, ever. It's got great coverage, and the color is perfect. Bravo.

Got mine in the mail yesterday! My first thought on seeing the colors when they were announced was the dark yellow green. THAT would have been my answer for the hole in their actual-colors/hues offerings. The bright yellow green is even brighter when you get it out of the bottle, very much on the yellow side. Your addition here is satisfyingly green.

some of those are similar to hues I've found myself accumulating from various companies, to flesh out my ever growing assortment... most of them as a direct result of things I've learned in videos from you and others. looks like a really attractive companion set, with complex shadow and highlight colors, and versatile foundations, well done. that purple is pretty enticing for sure.

My set was ordered after warhammer Wednesday(of course after they were back in stock😂). Can wait and thanks!!

Both sets look great. Some really interesting colors that I think will have a lot of applications. Especially love the ice blue and dark flesh.

I'm really excited to get both these boxes! Great colours, some I actively wanted ("Dark" magenta, white blue, etc) and some I didn't even think of until seeing them.

Hahaha yes congratulations! I fell in love with these paints last year, some of my favorite acrylics to use for OSL and TMM!

The range definitely needed some of the colours that you and Jon added. For me it was adding that dark ivory and the white blue as well as those extra magenta/purple tones

Was super excited to already see these on the shelf at my local store yesterday! (Shout out to Meeple Madness in Braselton, Georgia!)

Hi Vince, I wanted to say Kudos to you and Monument Hobbies. You have created some truly wonderful stuff. As a wannabe paint connoisseur, I naturally own a couple of cold shadow tones. I love my VMC Dark Sea Blue, Daler Rowney Payne's Grey, P3 Coal Black and Scale 75 Abyssal Blue for different reasons and applications. But your Payne's Grey might just be the best of the bunch. PA paints aren't easy to come by in Europe. But I managed to get a couple to support my favourite painting teacher. Good call.

I can't wait to get my hands on these paints! I have your set ordered, and Jon's will be next month! The Paynes Grey is big, love that color.

I need that Royal Purple in my life.

This is awesome! Jade and Bright Jade were the first Pro Acryl paints I purchased because those are typically colors I love, and I can't wait to get my hands on the Dark Jade. I'm new to pro acryl and your channel, but both have risen to my #1 for paints and tutorials/information. I'm stoked two of my favorite resources are working ❤️

I just ordered both sets and looking forward to trying these soon. The Dark Yellow-Green looks almost exactly like what I try to mix my Ork flesh base color to, so that alone might save me a lot of time.

These are great additions to the ProAcryl line! I have to say I couldn't wait to get my hands on that Royal Purple, and Blue White. Both of them absolutely pop with that signature coverage by Pro Acryl. Thanks for getting these added to the range! It's great to see how far Monument has come in the hobby community.

You shouold get into making metallics too Vince. Can't really beat vallejo metal colour but I reckon you could come up with some really nice additions.

Great video. Got some paints from both sets wish I just bought the sets while. Loved the way the flesh tones came out. I'm painting Kharne so I can't wait to try those on his arm.

I bought your white blue and dark ivory. They are quite expensive in Germany, twice the price of a GW pot but boy is that white blue good. I instantly fell in love with it.

Mine just arrived and I can't wait to use them on a saint celestine I'm gifting to a friend! They've already helped me add warm tones to her cape and shade the doves nicely. Ty for all the work that's clearly went into these sets!

I bought these the morning they were announced. They just came in the mail yesterday. I painted a mini with them last night. The paints work and look great. Congrats.

I picked up a bottle of payne's grey in a reasonable quality craft paint a couple of weeks ago. I guess I should have waited. A couple of others in these sets look like they will solve problems I am actively working on. And of course I am always interested in another purple. I don't intend to throw shade at anyone, but while some may be content to recreate or even improve upon some existing top sellers, this is what I'm actually interested in. Filling gaps in existing ranges, and providing easy options for hitting those highs and lows that can be a challenge for us casual amateurs.

As a big fan of pro acryl i will deffo pick up both sets when they hit the shores of Britain. A guide on how to use the transparent range properly would be nice though, Ive not quite figured them out

These paints look great, I'm putting them on my list of things I am allowed to buy this year (I'm not buying new minis till the POS is slightly smaller). I also took your advice from your last video and reached out to a gaming group in my community to start making new Hobby friends. It's a bit scary making new friends at nearly forty, but with the hobby as a conversation starting point it makes my awkward nervousness a little less awkward :)

Finally Vince is showing his true colours!

You're the goat, sir! Your royal purple is the main color in my color scheme, and it's probably my favorite color of all time. It's what I think of when I think purple, so thank you. I've used it for the portion of my orks that I've painted, and it will be my main color in my seraphon scheme that I'll be painting soon. You rock!

Pro acryl are by far the best paints to have in your inventory.

I'm sold at Payne's grey in normal paint form. Well done! The white blue looks like a great alternative to the my usual Glacier Blue.

Just bought both sets at a paintathon, then won the base ProAcryl set as a door prize. I love how these things work, especially through an airbrush, and I'm excited for them to become my daily driver paint range.

Royal Purple is exactly what I was looking for after Phoenician Purple did not quite have the punch I wanted. I'm going for an Anvils of the Heldenhammer theme with purple substituted for red. Thanks for this!

Just ordered the sets I used FW paynes grey to shade TMM silver but being a bit satin I can't wait to get the ProAcril one and see the effect with the flad shadows!

Beige red and dark warm flesh really tied the Proacryl flesh tones together. Before these two I wasn’t feeling their flesh colors but you two really pulled them tight and bridged the whole range of flesh colors. That dark yellow green is also a great base for some Orc skin.

Just got mine in. Excited to try them out.

Jon's colors didn't excite me as much but the second I saw the Royal Purple, I was sold on your kit. I'm so excited to work with these colors as soon as UPS stops delaying my delivery.

I see Vince, I like. I see Pro Acryl, I buy. You and Jon both did an amazing job promoting these paints, they look really good, particularly for flesh tones. How does the Royal Purple compare to Pro Acryl transparent purple ? I know it's an ink but it has a lot of covering and I used it pure to give the God Emperor's (stl file from the Makers Cult to 3d print) cloak a Roman emperor style. Don't know if you own a 3d printer but I'm curious how you would paint this amazing sculpt that GW doesn't make...

THe Royal purple is a really strong pure purple, it's saturated as all get out basically.

Just bought this set and im excited to try a nightkin color scheme with that paynes grey for my ork kommandos!

can’t believe Jon got the actual magenta and not you ;). Lovely stuff and just as a general topic the videography and audio is so much better than it was even less than a year ago. You can see everything you’re doing and hear without hiss and background dead air noise. Good job.

So these amazing paints aren't available in the UK as a set until next month, however they are available as individuals and I confess they're amazing, the flesh tones are awesome.
