Calling the watch falling apart just because of a loose screw is quite an unnecessary drama 😅

The bracelet screws should be secured with a tiny amount of Loctite 222, that will prevent this happening. Your AD or jeweller will be able to do this for you.

You are one of those true youtubers out there. Keep going for another decade or so with 6 month updates and you and your watch will become a stuff of legends.

Blue loctite will fix that.

Bro, Rolex and ADs use an adhesive when screwing in the pins, to keep them from coming out over time due to vibration and other factors. Look up the adhesive from Bergeon or Loctite if you work on your watch.

I didn't see any threadlocker on the pin when you were screwing it back in to the bracelet on your video. Don't know if that footage was before or after, but that is the reason.

This happened to my sub as well. Same exact screw. Super strange

The same thing happened to my Steinhart Hulk.

You probably already know this but you should wear a g shock or smart watch to golf, not a submariner. Same with any other sport

Citizen. Only watched to buy. Indestructible!!!! Wear all day never have issues with them. Keep way more accurate time and battery has not been replaced. Watch is 12 years old.

This just sounds like it was due to negligence… if I were you I would invest in some other watches to wear for different situations

Just check the screws every year or so. had the same thing happen, I've never had one come loose since that first time. Just go around and snug up the others. continue to wear it golfing, they take a lot worse abuse then a golf swing.

NATO strap is your best friend

Happen with any watch,i worn a santos cartier and after 1 year the strap open alone all the time,i have now a rolex airking 34mm and the same,it open very quickly,any mouvment like aplause and the strap is open...

Wear my sd4000 doing everything except contact sports obviously like any person would do,take it off when your dead mate subs are tougher than you think!!

You should not be engaging in high impact sports with a mechanical watch. (unless its the RM 27-03, Rafael Nadal). Swimming is OK, even street biking, but golf, tennis is a no. You can do damage, break the balance shaft and other damage. These watches are relatively durable, but they are still mechanical contraptions with lots of small moving parts. Enjoy it in good health. Sub is a tremendous watch.

This is not my experience. I’ve had my submariner 16610 since 2004. It was my only watch for almost 15 years and I wore it daily regardless of what I was doing. Water skiing, Diving, Sky diving, Golfing, shooting, even racquet ball. I have never had a problem. I had it serviced about 2 years ago only because everyone said I should. It’s an incredibly durable watch and I’m betting the newer ones are even more durable than mine.

The marketing world and rolex made u feel sub is a sport watch for everyday use . I am sure your intelligent mind tells you otherwise. The truth is that nothing beats a g shock and a rolex is just a luxury product faking sport purpose - if we are really honest

G shock is like a CNC machine, they are the superior tool for todays job without the flavour of yesterday’s outdated hand tools.

Not great seeing as it’s a Rolex!

Rolex is a good watch but not" God". I had three Submariners and two had problems. First was going slow 14 seconds a day, I had to send it to Dallas to be serviced. The last one the Super Case Sub stopped working after seven years of gentle usage. It was never dropped or abused. When I sold that one I was so happy the get rid of that piece of crap.

14 seconds a day ? Something was wrong with the movement. What were the timegrapher results when you got it back from the service ? Supercase stopped working ? Well, they reccommend a service every 5 years. Doesn't matter if you drop it or not. It's a mechanical timepiece. The lubricants dry out over time. I bet the piece was happy you got rid of it. I highly doubt you owned one from your comments.
