Working on it, sort of! HAHA! It's tough to get motivated. I've had some overcast days for taking new photos. Now I need overcast days for recording antenna videos. I don't think I'll see any for a few more days. Regarding my use of the word "heel," 30+ years in the Coast Guard is bound to bring a nautical term or two into my videos. HAHA! Thanks for visiting!

I did! I'll be at RARSFest (Raleigh) and then some fests in Roanoke and Berryville. I'm also planning a trip to Texas in April.
I saw you there, cool looking GTI, amazing you can carry so many antennas mounted on top.

I didn’t get the chance, I was dragging a bit and I was looking for members of my club. If you are back next year I’ll stop by. Also yesterday I was able to setup my equipment tray in the trunk of my Dodge Charger so now I need to install and wire up a radio or two.

Is the Kenwood now for GMRS? I also have one of those handheld control head Midland radios and other than scanning, it's about useless.

The Kenwood is a converted 900 MHz business band radio. There's an Elmer in my local club who acquires them, reprograms them for 900 MHz amateur use, and then gives them away. I couldn't say no. HAHA! I agree that GMRS can be useless. As "NotARubicon" has said, GMRS is a tool for a specific need. In my case, I only find use for one when traveling with unlicensed family members in separate cars or with car groups who may have them in use. Thanks for visiting.
