Anzac Day is arguably our most important day of the year. 25th April. (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps)This is when we remember those who have served in all wars and celebrate the lifestyle that we enjoy thanks to those who served or lost their lives fighting for our country. We were in lockdown on this particular Anzac Day due to COVID and we were unable to participate in all the ceremonies and celebrations that we usually participate in.

You don't have to tell us how good Guy is..we have known for years. Such raw vocals here, just enough power, grit and silky all at once. Love it!

This Guy is absolutly amazing. He should be more notised world wide. With a voice like that. One of the best male singers in modern time. In my oppinion. John farnham will allways be nr one. But Guy can cary his legacy in to the future.

Typically with Australian artists, you're always better off listening to live versions, rather than recordings because you're not hearing what the recording company wanted, you're hearing what the artist themselves want you to hear.

I'd rather react to the live version, as opposed to the video because that tends to work out for me, as far as blocks & strikes go. Sometimes, people'll ask for the video & I'll make the attempt. Sometimes it works & others, not so much!

Guy is Australia's "Kelly Clarkson" he was our first Australian Idol winner!!

Glad you enjoyed it Roscoe. He certainly is a talent. An Australian singer that sings with her accent on show is Missy Higgins singing 'The Special Two'. Great song!!

There are plenty of legendary Aussie bands, esp our 80's pub rock genre bands that sing in Aussie accents. Aussie Crawl leader singer James Reyne sings with a typical Aussie accent & Icehouse front man Iva Davies does also esp in the epic Aussie anthem Great Southern Land.

ANZAC = Australia. New Zealand army corps. In memory of those that died in previous wars

ANZAC stands for the Australian & New Zealand's armed forces in WW1 they were slaughtered at Gallipoli. Anzac day happens every year on the anniversary of that awful battle.

Roskoe, what a great 'reaction'! This was recorded during our covid lockdown period....which nearly killed the music industry here in Australia. It's hard to get a video without it being blocked in the USA...which is crazy. So try to find 'live' versions. Guy wrote this as he is a singer/songwriter...He writes of personal experiences with a loving heart. The company SME has blocked me from even being able to see..or those in my country, according to them. 😔 If there's another song you have in mind, just let me know!
