I loved when Slappy said,"It's Goosin' time," and Bumbed all over the place. It is truly the best moment in the trailer.

Despite the awful music choice (and I say this as a Travis fan), I’m kind of hopeful for this one. I’m not crazy on it being a “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” scenario, but the tone makes me hopeful!

This would be the 3rd time they’ve done this type of story with a “scary book” series adaptation. First was scary stories to tell in the dark(2019), then fear street(2021), now this in 2023.

The goosebumps movie w, jack black has this narrative as well , monsters from a book being unleashed into the real work. Scary stories to tell in the dark executed it better though.

Soon as i heared travis, I fainted 💀 I'm hopeful for this show though

The haunted mask went from really creepy looking mask to mask I can buy at spirit halloween. What a downgrade and the little extra look at slappy oof I can only imagine the voice he’s gonna have. I really wished we just go anthology show again like the og series and adapt the new books like goosebumps horror land where it’s both episodic but also has a story going on at horror land.

Yeah the mask is lame, just looks like a regular old mask, I always liked the mask from the show where it basically looks like the green goblin from Spider-Man, it’s supposed to look scary, this ain’t scary

At least I’m not the only one who was “🙄” with the Travis Scott song, but ima let it slide, cuz I want this to be good, hoping it turns out pretty alr

I think the kids have to wake up Slappy cause he’s the only one that has the power to fight evil spirits. We’ve never seen Slappy team up with the kids before but It would be a fun change of pace.

I love goosebumps so I know I'm going to love this new series of the book!

On October Friday the 13th you can either watch a mid looking Disney + show or you can watch the 4th Season of an Award Winning show that has proven to have a unique style and overall be incredibly entertaining. I know I’m biased, but Ima take Creepshow any day of the week

That would be cool if all of the artifacts or objects in the books, are all in an antique shop. the cuckoo clock, the camera from Say Cheese and Die , the mask, and Slappy!

Just saw the trailer for this TV series and it honestly didn't feel anything like goosebumps. Hopefully they're just keeping away all the good stuff but this trailer did not win me over

Coo Coo Clock Of DOOM! Waited a couple of years for this, I recon it will probably just be mid range and will be easily forgettable. The thing that I loved about the original series is the eerie cinematography that went along with the stories.

Idk why but clock of doom definitely wasn’t my favorite but it was one of the most memorable episodes I can recall. Still an absolute banger of an episode.

Im excited for the show and that is getting a new feel to it but im not a fan smashing the stories all into one as seen in the trailer (don't get me wrong I'll still watch it) I would've liked it if every episode was based on book. In the trailer it looks like it's going to be one full movie even though it's a a series plus they should've went with the original theme song instead of travis scott (it doesn't mix well) the song just says goosebumps and that is all they needed to include it in the trailer

I was hoping after the second one's ending we will see someone else return from the first film in the 3rd film and the book rl stine ended up in would be horrorland. There is no way they could have had a great horrorland film without them going into the book to have the entire park available

personally, im kinda sad about the tone they seem to be setting. goosebumps to me is more like courage the cowardly dog, not something serious or "mildly gritty", so many of the wacky designs and such seem now generic and toned down, especially the mask (if it is the same mask). im not knocking it till it comes out tho, it could be a really good show, but kids today are missing out on stuff like courage or hocus pocus (unless they watch checkered past on adult swim now)

This just looks like a super generic horror show, but with goosebumps just thrown in. It doesn't have the charm that made goosebumps the way it is. It's basically Disney's crappy version of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

The reason Sony is still on the Goosebumps Disney+ series is because they have their hand in it and the Goosebumps brand is still theirs.... I heard that the show is more of a Hulu original for it serious creepy tone but they went ahead and added on Disney Plus as well. In my opinion I think this show is not going to be too Kiddy...Just look at all the matured Marvel and Star Wars series that wasn't toned down.

i love travis; favorite aritist- but goosebumps was a cringe music choice even though it matches the show title 😕 - i watched it without audio the first time for whatever reason and it seemed super cool

I feel like people are all over the place with this show. With the movies they were too light hearted. Ok, heres darker. You dont like it? Then dont ask. Everyone says these kids are too old. Too be honest, I dont think watching a bunch of eleven year olds would be that entertaining, especially to older audiences. And besides, you cant convince me that more than half of the kids in the og show weren't in high school anyway. And my final little point is, an anthology adaptation just wouldn't be as profitable. Some episodes would get more love (Night of the Living Dummy, Lawn Gnomes, etc.) while other episodes wouldn't and would earn less (Go Eat Worms, The Haunted School)

Eh, Im more of a fan of the anthology aspect of goosebumps

Any goosebumps series or movie nowadays that isn't based on Horrorland is an automatic L in my eyes. I mean fr it's so simple to do an Anthology season 1 of all the children who go to Horrorland and then have season 2 be Horrorland. The finale of season 1 could've also been everyone arriving there or getting invitations to go. I've been dying to see "Help! We Have Strange Powers!" adapted ever since i was a kid.

Idk horrorland in the original show doesn’t hold up, some of the episodes definitely don’t hold up, but the movies (at least the first one) are pretty good or at least fun to watch, I always love seeing the monsters from the books translated into them, besides horrorland would work as a series but not as a movie or anthology, anthology is perfect to adapt all books not just horrorland, like I think my favorite episode is definitely the haunted mask, really scary and holds up, but I will say the goosebumps horrorland videogame I had on Wii is an all time classic

@@miketrapper0464 Horrorland in the show was only one episode and ofc it doesn't hold up the show had a insanely cheap budget which is exactly why it deserves a proper adaptation. And ofc I don't mean a Horrorland Anthology series I mean an anthology season about the kids that end up meeting in Horrorland. Each book one episode all about different kids until they finally meet either in the finale or the second season where we actually get to Horrorland itself. Seriously, Horrorland is probably the best Goosebumps spin off and it's gotten zero attention in media aside from the game and that one mid episode.

It takes the kids from the some of the books Night of the Living Dummy, Deep Trouble, Monster Blood for Breakfast, Say Cheese and Die Screaming, The Haunted Mask and a few others and they all get invited to Horrorland and arrive around the same time and they have to escape all while facing their enemies from the past, my favorite of the books though is Help! We Have Strange Powers! where a brother and sister get powers the sister can read minds and the brother has telekinesis and they play a prominent role in surviving Horrorland. The Horrorland series is the best Goosebumps series to actually make a scary yet really cool adaptation.

I just watched the trailer and eh...not a fan so far. This trailer was very poorly put together and it's not giving me Goosebumps vibes at all.

When I realized that each episode wasn’t going to be its own thing, the show completely lost me
