Welcome back Bre, I absolutely love the work Kaleidoscope RMX have done with Angelina and this is so beautiful I believe when Angelina sung this at the age of 10 she dedicated it Grandma Mery and it wouldn't surprise me if that was the inspiration behind Kaleidoscope RMX's work.

Hello again, Bre 🙂 I'm always happy whenever I see you do another reaction to Angelina. I dunno if you recognized it, but this performance is the same as you reacted to one year ago, where she filmed herself in that beautiful vintage furniture/chandelier store. Only this time Kaleidoscope RMX slowed it down to fit this jazz arrangement. They also used her first verse twice, and skipped the last one where she went to the stratosphere with her voice. You can hear the shakiness in the prolonged notes here, but it is still very beautiful and well done. Kaleidoscope RMX consists of a father and his daughter, and they have done SO much great stuff with Angelina's performances. Go check them out if you haven't already. Who knows, maybe you'll even find a video that triggers your reactioneer interest 😅 Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

Bree, I’ve GOT to subscribe to your channel. You’re the only reactor I know of who immediately recognizes Angelina’s grandma AND knows her name. I’m guessing you are like me, enamored with their special relationship to one another. She of course, introduced Angelina to jazz at the age of three and has said of her Grandma… she is “inspirational”… “she’s my best friend”, my “everything.” ❤️ Great reaction Bree!

Her and grandma were both child prodigies, with Mery actually performing her poetry recitals on Radio Iran when she was 4. With regard to her artistic ability, Mery is revered in Japan and deservedly so, for she is a master with the brush, for sure. So glad her exceptional DNA was transferred to her eldest granddaughter who was actually singing adult songs as early as the age of 1-1/2. Here, she takes 'Valentine' to the most emotion laden penetration level I have ever heard a singer do, and many, many A-List artists have sung the song.

Once again Angelina has taken a song I never paid much attention to and made it into one of my favorites. I much prefer Kaleidoscope's jazzy musical arrangement over the antique shop video original. It's just so nice to listen to AJ and watch her with Mery... Thanks so much for reacting to this masterpiece.
