G, I don't know if you will ever see this comment but I wanted to tell you I came back for another visit because I loved your reaction so, so much. In a couple of years, when Angelina has become the world's voice of music, someone might come up to me and ask me what my favorite Angelina song is. They will probably assume it is one of her originals which undoubtedly will top the charts but I will tell them, "Angelina singing 'My Funny Valentine' at 10 years old." They will be stunned and I will suggest to them to take a listen to it and tell me what they think. I believe we both know what their reaction will be, "OMG!"

More's the pity. For me, that first verse set the show meaning of the song. Regrettably, it seems that no singer these days will include it.

Her current version of this song is absolutely spectacular, but I’ve loved this version for years. It hits me harder emotionally, even though her voice is obviously stronger and more developed now. The two versions should not be compared, but just enjoyed for what they are. Angelina was the best ten year old singer I’ve ever heard. Now she’s the best singer I’ve ever heard. Period.

I cry every time, that means all the hundreds of time I have listened to this....

A lot of fans cry a little on many AJ creations but for me only 2 or 3 do that to me. This one gets me every time! The emotion and passion, knowing the dynamics and phrasing to this ridiculously difficult song is miraculous. That sweet little voice at 4 weeks into her 10th year just melts my heart. Now do you understand why so many people wanted you to hear this???? 10 yrs old !!!!! This is an incredible video and more evidence that at 10 she stepped it up a few notches and the industry began to take her very, very seriously. To me what was so unbelievable is that she actually increased the level of intensity when she did the ending of the song a second time around. And, what was so beautiful, you saw a sweet young girl turn into an accomplished artist and then revert back to the charming child who she was. She didn't sing this good or even great. She sang this better than most renown artists have and it was a phenomenal performance, one that will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!

Yes .. she’s 10. Unbelievable! A must see, also still just 10, is “I’m Still Holding Out For You”. This was the year she really took a major step up, there’s some gorgeous performances! Love this rendition soo much. Tiny girl, HUGE voice! It’s a really difficult song to sing, I’ve heard professional singers fail; indeed, very few dare attempt to sing it, even. Excellent reaction and agree and that's why she has nickname Singing Angel of a 1,000 Voices, Barefoot Princess with a 1,000 voices, etc. She is so unique, Adele said she is honored that A.J. Covers her songs, Maddonnamsays she is frightening, because of how good she is. No one before her had her knowledge with the capabilities at such a young age had her ahead, decades of all Artists, Past, Present and probably future for some time. This one, My Funny Valentine at 10 years old is so full of love and passion, just sitting there belting it out in her living room like it was nothing. I can't watch it without crying.
