You are very professional and quite charming. Good work my friend!
Nice, well spoken, professional, humble dude. Who wouldn't want you around. Youre really a great person.
Man, keep it going. You may be C level now, but with your knowledge and willingness to share information, big things will be in your future.
I rarely comment on videos, but needed to here. This guy is in my option a top fella. Respectable, honest and humble. Really refreshing. Wish you every success mate from here in the UK.

William Street I agree so much to this setup
Young man I love your attitude and ability to clearly convey the intricacies of outfitting and rigging your PA. Keep going, stay humble, and make the audience never want to leave your shows. Anyone looking to enter sound reinforcement should consider watching this video. Great content!
I stumbled across your video and while I am not interested in getting into your business I dabble in pro audio and found your video very informative. You are one of the most well spoken folks I have listened to and watched on KZread. I am sure you are helping a lot of folks wanting to get in your line of work so keep up the good job you are doing informing people. You are a natural public speaker / teacher!
You are an inspiration to all us small-time companies out here. Congrats on your success. Well deserved
I have work with A LOT of sound companies and most of owners think they are the best!!!! This guy is the real deal very humble and very honest! best of luck in the future!
this what we sound guys use as work horses on a decent general session or a glorified Break out room. versatile and very convenient. Great video man. very simple and straight to the point.
I absolutely love the way that you explain things and the pace of this video.
Great guy, wasnt expecting much from this video but I discovered a man that works out for his own! Keep the spirit sir.
I stumbled across this by accident. I was watching home stereo videos and this came up. I found it quite interesting and learned a few things as well. You seem very sincere and knowledgable about your business. I wish you all the luck.
This is hands down the best video on KZread for this. I love what you’re doing man!
Right on man.. It was a pleasure watching you explaining from the top down about your rig. I’m sure you have upgraded since making this video. Looking forward to seeing where your at, almost a year later 👍🏼 Peace and Respect from Ireland 🇮🇪 🤜🏼🔊🤛🏼
Awesome video. Very informative. I've known many smaller companies that have made a good living off these bad boys. They may not throw that far, but definitely can get the job done for the smaller gigs. They were the gateway to bigger things for us. And for those who don't want to get too big, they're just fine to make a good living with.
Martin Audio, Meyer Sound etc. - they all started with one guy, an idea, lots of hard work and plenty of ambition. You're a great guy with a great attitude. Keep going.
Thanks for making a great video, sir. I have a slightly older JBL SRX rig with Crown MacroTech amps, plus some QSC backup/monitor amps, etc. Your claims and recommendations are right in line with my experiences! Best wishes!
Well done! Very informative. You helped me make a decision about entering "the business". Carry on!
Well done, man... Nice work on your vid. Very informative... love your genuine humility and straight forward approach. A true, knowledgeable gentleman. All the best!
Thanks for the inside tour of a sound business, excellent communicator! Cheers (I'm leaving this in) :)
I have worked with some big name acts and owned my own lighting rig and worked side by side with a couple of production companies. And to say all that to say this you did an awesome job with the video good info and the equipment looks clean and professional.
Howdy from Houston brother, I’ve been in the live sound touring and corporate business since 1987; congratulations , you have a , very clean ,organized and professional company, very well put together, better than many bigger, so called “professional” companies out there, I liked in particular the cable management behind the amp rack, that’s how I do it, keep up the good work and have a productive 2019
Great video, as a DJ a 15 years and as sound engineer contractor for other companies that do Festival sound it is important for some folks to know the difference. These videos would have been great to see when I first started...
This... Was.... AWESOME!! Thank you for even thinking to take the time to make this video.
Thank you I truly enjoyed watching this with log as well as all of your other ones great job
wow!..........seems like this guy was born to do this kind of work! true professional!
John, nice video! Good info for folks. People should appreciate the time and effort that the cabling in the back of the rack took to make it neat and easy to navigate.
Thanks for the video. I am planning on building my own PA rig myself. Your information is great! Keep those videos coming.
Great Job John! I'm glad you broke it down the way that you did. You have a lot of djs out there that would like to build a rock solid sound system to play larger spaces.. keep up the great work. DjMyguy, NYC
I really appreciate you taking the time to put together this very informative video. Thank you from uk
Bro!!! You are awesome!!!! Love your videos man. Keep'em coming. And keep up the great work. Your vids are very informative. Thanks again.
Wow Bro don’t listen to haters you have come a long way since your one of my favorite videos I quit my job... keep us posted and informed Thanks!
Dj U12GO hear and I don't turn on notifications ever but I will for this. ima go through all your content keep up the good work ep1 was exactly what I was looking for.
Fantastic video!!! I really appreciate your sharing all knowledge in your video. Great job! I have subscribed.
great video ,love your humility and honesty
I love this guy, his knowledge is top notch. When I first heard his voice I had to take a double take, we all southern bro!!! Keep up the good work
Great video! You are very knowledgeable when it comes to proper PA configuration and deployment
Great Video!! Thanks for sharing. I have been in the biz and out of the biz. Have been getting back in lately. I don't know if everyone caught your mafia reference but it is so true. Once your in they won't let you out. I have had good luck with a few auctions. Keep the videos coming. You Sir are on your way. Very nice rig!!
Hey man, I really respect your honesty and this is a brilliant video. You seem like a genuinely nice guy! All the best to you and your business = D
Well made, intelligently delivered and informative video. Although not personally into live sound, I enjoyed watching this. I am currently experimenting with some QSC speakers for "home theater" application- with good results- in place of the normal home speaker selection. Keep up the good work.
Loved your video, lots of straight talk regarding starting out.
Highly appreciated John, you never stop to inspire me, from South Africa (Johannesburg)
Dope set up and I hope your business grows! Wish you all the best, much success and God bless!
Thumbs up for the honesty of the intro alone. Keep pushing cuz 👍🏿
Such humility & honesty. You helped me a lot...Thanks brother.
Awesome information. I agree with most in hoping the best in your business and it's refreshing to see someone being honest and not full of themselves or looking to be popular. Genuine! Have you considered also looking into maybe doing home theater set ups as well or if have experience in it do videos on that as.well
I Appreciate all of your advice and in-depth explanations of your inventory and what it took to get you where you are now and do's and don'ts's and stuff. God Bless
Nice video man. Definitely a nice starter system and you'll work your way up to a larger/higher quality rig as you keep going. Lots of good info here, thanks for the video!
A bunch of years ago, I was touring with a Rock Circus show here in UK and one venue had this system installed (with a few less cabinets) but we left our rig in the truck and did the show though the installed rig, it was AWESOME!!
You're doing way better than a lot of people. Keep at it bro!
Nice video, thanks for the info John. Just setting some stuff up for personal use and having a primer like this on pro equipment is nice. Subscribed. +Nice Accent. I could listen to your voice all day.
Well done. Wish you the best future. Very informative
I’m a mobile DJ, I like ur vids and spirit man very helpful. Your mic video helped me out a bit.
Great video, great information. And straight to the point. Thanks.
Great content that you’re putting out, keep up the good work man!
Thanks 😊 for posting this. Very interesting and inspiring 👍
I will never set up a PA, but I watched this whole video because your presentation was awesome and interesting. Great Job!

Dude you are awesome!! I just learned a ton from this video!
You’re are very smart sound professional. Loads of helpful information in this video’. Thank you.
enjoyed this video. Cant wait to see what else you put up.
Hey man, really enjoyed this video. I’m a DJ with a small rig set-up. Not looking to get into the rigging game but found your video very interesting and informative. By the way you’ve presented this video, I can tell you have put a lot of dedication, investment and time into your business. Your experience speaks volumes through the information you have given and is very clear and on point. Because of this, I have subbed 🤙 All the best and success for your future endeavours in 2019 and beyond 💯🤙
Well cheers I enjoyed your insight and as such have subed. Great video mate.
Very thorough sir. Quality video!
very nice job sir. love what youre doing, as I am getting back into the market as well. Lets do this!
That is very useful guidance from you. Thank you very much.
2 years later. watching this in 2021 and helped me alot!! thanks boss
That is the correct video for me I am looking to go a step up now
Absolutely love how humble you are!

Simon Sørensen why are people saying this guy is humble and honest? I keep seeing the word “humble” and “honest.” Does he look like he could be potentially prideful? Or dishonest? Doesn’t to me... I’m confused. I see white guys do awesome reviews but no one says they are honest and humble. They just simply like the review. Just a question. ✌🏾
great Video, John! :) I really like the way you to talk about your stuff. You´re right. It´s not the best gear, but still good in this price range. Well done!
WOW, thank you for this, it is very insightful.
Great video John, well explained and really humble :)
Great video. Amazingly informative. Love to see how you setup power for this rig on like a remote venue.
Nice PA. Nice knowledgeable person. Pleasure to watch. Best of luck. Hope you make shitloads of money!!
I really like the drive rack. I've been using the drive rack 260 for over 5 years now. It really gives you options for tuning in the system at different venues
Nice set up... Thanks for sharing... Good luck and keep it up!
THIS WAS A DOPE VIDEO. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO EXPLAIN. IF YOU HAPPEN TO GET SOME NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON YOUR RIG. FORGET THEM. YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME HATERS. THIS IS VERY IMPRESSIVE. IF YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF LOW END YOUR NOT GIVING YOURSELF ENOUGH CREDIT. AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like what you know about what you do, thumbs up!
This is a awesome video. Def about stuff I never knew about
Man, I love your videos. I have a very small sound and light production service in KY.
AWSOME info. New sub from me and I can’t wait to watch the rest of this series 👍🏻
Well spoken and well presented. Very professional. Thanks :)
Going into the supply of good sound system costs heck of a lot, then there is the cost of maintenance. My favourite system is still from L’Acoustics. The K2s, Karas etc. So so sweet. All the best!
Thanks and Keep Working hard it all pays off in the end , Thanks n ya got a new subscriber 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏼💪🏼👍🏻👍🏻
This is legit content. Quite informative. Stay blessed.
Hello from Nashville, Tn! Nice, clean setup, John! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for the Info. Really appreciate it. 🙏🔊🔊🔥🔥🔥
this is great. I like how it's a modular rig and you could just take a few array boxes and a couple subs to do a smaller show.
Before watching the video; man you seem really cool and grounded! Keep going and be you!!
Electrovoice CP-series amps are serious. They have quality output, even for subs. I use a pair to run my Danley TH-118's bridge-mono.
I have no idea why I am watching this, but I like your energy
Just fell over your video by coincidence. I really appreciate your honesty and clear view on the business and your position in it. Keep on, man! But would advise you the LabGruppen PLM 20000 as a 2in4 Dolby Lake Processing amp which replaces your whole amp city by one piece. Guess what: I sell 4 of them. ;) But indeed, Check the used market. Light weighted and an investment for the next 20years. Go ahead, best wishes from a brother from Germany.
John I am not in this business, yet I really enjoy your Vlogs about Pro Audio thanks for your time & info..
I know when I go spending $10k+ for my corporate events, I'm not looking for a dude with a small PA and lights. I'm looking for someone that can facilitate a production at scale that provides the atmosphere and logistical delivery we need to have a successful event. This is great, John. Thanks for putting this together.
Love the VRX. Great workhorse that sounds awesome. Cool video!!!
I used to be into Hifi never dealt with PA systems so I enjoyed that, good vid.
Nice video, JBL is the standard when it comes to pro sound. Can't wait to see your system with crown amps in the future.
Dude thats an insane rig... You can throw massive festivals with that setup.
Keep it up my man. Enjoyed the video. Love me some pro audio.
I was drooling the entire vid. 👍
