7:53🎉🎉🎉 impressive! I do love a stat 8:23 - so impressive you are hitting those goals - 10 books are amazing. I have now included all my under the bed books and am on 207 But from books hauled this year i hauled 81 and read 34 (1 DNF)...so 46 to go! 💜📚

Ship of Magic!! I also enjoyed Raybearer and Vicious and those are much faster-paced if you're looking for recommendations to read in a vlog

Please read The Lies of Locke Lamora. It's so much fun! I've heard very polarizing reviews of The Emperor's Baldes, so i'm also curious where you will fall

I feel like I heard such rave reviews for emperors blades and then loads of 2-3 stars and now I’m like oh dear this book is polarising!

Congratulations for this TBR success ! I have about 70 books on my physical TBR (haven't moved much from last year, it was 75) and my goal for 2024 is to bring it to 50 ! 🙂 In order to do so : I'm instauring a no buying more than 3 books in a month rule. I read about 5 books a month. The books that must be read : -Wild Seed by Octavia E.Butler (Disturbing but good !) - the Atlas Paradox (loved this sequel) - Ship of magic by Robin Hobb (my favorite ! More of a summer read though) - The Name of the Wind 😈 - The Black Coast by Mike Brooks (I'm really interested by that one, haven't read it yet) - The Dragonbone Chair by Tad Williams (It is on my TBR too and yes daunting.)

Fireborne has my vote, of course! That’s really great progress, congrats. A lot of my TBR is made up of 2023 purchases so I clearly need to be more selective or faster at getting to them.

I definitely need to get to Fireborne in 2024! I guess if it’s just 2023 purchases it means you don’t have many books that have been languishing on your TBR for years

Dragon Mage and the Ember Blade are both fantastic, I adore Trail of Lightning as well, but there are supposed to be more than 2 books and I’m not sure they aware going to happen. The Black Coast is great as well, they try everything to make peace instead of going to war and it’s such a nice change

It's been ages since Rebecca Roanhorse worked on the Trail of Lightening series...I think the Black Sun trilogy is going to be finished this year so I feel like that one is more likely to get read in 2024

I've read and enjoyed on that list Peace & Turmoil (I'm excited for book #2! I was very impressed with Elliot's character work and illustrations 👌), The Name of the Wind (it was beautifully written, very immersive, but I wasn't invested enough in Kvothe, the MC and narrator, to continue on 😅), and The Warlord Chronicles (read it this year and was overall blown away by it, though I wish a certain plot point was explored more in the third book). Vicious and The Dragonbone Chair are also on my TBR, though none of my local libraries have Tad Williams' works, so I'll vote for Vicious so I can pick it up too when you do. ☺️

Keeper of the Lost Cities is good.

And I Darken PLEASE. It is one of THE most underrated series out there.

Also you're still doing amazing. My physical tbr is over 200 for sure, more like 250 ish I think, as well as another 200+ on ebook on my kindle 🙈

I really want to say The Dragon bone chair by Tad Williams - just for jokes as it was a mean book sticking around for a while 😂 I don't though the book I most want you to read is 🌊✨️ The Ship of Magic✨️🌊 Multiple points of view fantastic characters - join us on the emotional journey! 💜📚

It sounds so easy reading 64 books until you realise they are fantasy and each book is really 3ish books not just 1

Exactly!! So many of these books are starts to series so then I have a commitment to buy more books and read those! 😂

You did so well and I’m sure you’ll get it down to 50 by the end of 2024 😁🩵 Also I recommend you read Helm of Midnight
