Geese are the cutest and best! I adore geese. They're extremely intelligent, social, friendly and social! Friendly and lovable, I love to hang out with wild geese in the parks and be among them regularly.

Those kids are gonna have great immune systems! 😆👍

I started dieing laughing when they suddenly turned into big ass adults.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I TOO HAVE A PET GOOSE. Mine is a HYBRID FARM + CANADA GOOSE. Geese are amazing! Very misunderstood and misrepresented.

I've had several geese bond with me through the last 34 years to where they have followed me, perched on my shoulder, sat on my lap, and attacked others who would come near me. I currently watch 4-5 clutches of baby Canadians grow up every year at nearby ponds.

I love greylag geese they are just so adorable and they have little to no fear of people 😂❤

I remember as a child getting chased by a goose at the park with my mother. He terrorized everyone. That was _his_ park, not ours.

He made sure you knew it too. 😂. If you turn around, proceed toward the bird, and spread your arms wide they’ll often retreat. Making loud noises helps too. You have to make them think you’re bigger and not afraid.

No idea why but geese crack me up when I see them. They are such goofy looking creatures both in how they move and looks.

Nope, raising them from a gosling is very nice - they see you as family and always want to be around you. They are super cute, not mean at all when you're apart of their flock ^^ I've raised a gosling from this species before and named her Momo, but I'm not very 'mean'- just very thankful to have known her. They will love you with unconditional bias to your personality. Geese just keep their family close and everyone else farrr, far away. My family had to give her away because we were moving to a state that disallowed transportation of her species, and it was so hard to part from her and vice versa.

@@cryppi1510 Awww, I’m sorry you had to part with Momo. I had a Quaker parrot named Lulu; she was my girl: she’d lay (unfertilized) eggs and I was the only one she’d let touch them. We had to leave her in WA, since they’re illegal in CA. I’d have smuggled her in, but I was afraid she’d need a vet at some point. Anyway, here’s to Momo and Lulu! ❤️

Wow I Had A Goose And Dog Named Sirfetche'd And Wolfgang Sadly They Have Passed But My Heart Is Out To The Two!

Use to have ducks at home and rabbits on the farm. I miss those days.

Geese are big ol’ puddy tats if you raise them from a young age and give them a lot of love.

I don’t know about mating season, but the wild geese we had in our backyard were great parents. One parent would watch while the chicks and the other parent ate. Very protective. Contrast that with the wild ducks we had. Raised entirely by the mom, who would flea at the first sign of danger and would hope the ducklings would follow. Of course, the geese only had 2 while the ducks would have up to 11-12 ducklings at a time.

Why does this music fit so perfectly with the geese?

Love geese, had 2 when I was growing up. Lol yes they crap everywhere the only thing I found was the Gander became aggressive/protective of the goose after the first time we bred them.

Those are two beauties. I think the mixed breed geese like your two are usually easier going compared to the pure bred Toulouse geese and emblems. That’s been my experience.

dont move to austin proper. move to a county right outside. way less building rules, stupid laws, and more freedom in general. also super cheap land that is getting more expensive by the year.
