Video idea: Record yourself going to a church service for each denomination over the course of a few months and give your opinion of them. Preferably with one of the church’s members so you don’t get completely lost, especially if you visit a Catholic Church. Us Catholics have a lot of rules.

That would make for an interesting video, but I'm not sure that Zoomer would have enough time for that given his stance on the importance of attending church as much as you possibly can at your own denomination's church, which would mean that he would have to either go to multiple services in a day or do something like an alternating schedule

I hate that the South is as uneducated as it is. Not everyone down here is, there's certainly some brilliance within our midst, but I must relent that there's a serious education problem. That being said, I wouldn't say that being uneducated leads people to being conservative any more than it leads people to being liberal. I feel the south simply resists liberal views pretty heavily, and that tradition is far more important in the south than it is in the north, and so liberals mostly gave up on spreading liberalism in the south and focused their efforts on a more receptive population. But hey, I am not a psychologist or cultural anthropologist, so take my interpretation with a grain of salt.

Being “educated” is not a good metric of anything. Most people mean graduating college when they say that but I can easily argue that college is a waste of time and money for many people. In fact in the tech industry many hiring managers will turn you down if you have post graduate degrees because that means your practical skills are less developed than someone that’s been in the field. I’m from the south and sure the college graduation rates are less and we make less than the national average but the cost of living is low and the average person is very intelligent and self sufficient

Mormons actually make up a minority in the state now and we have some incredible nature from north to south, not to mention some of the highest quality of life in the nation, good jobs, great universities (ignore BYU), and growing religious diversity. For whatever reason I always assumed Oregon was a lot further away from Cali than it is. I’ve heard rumors that many of the Catholic schools for priest are full. With all the folks watching videos and looking into History, religion and philosophy it was only a matter of time before they stumbled across a Catholic Church. If anything it still makes me happy to see people convert and praise the Lord. Not everyone is given the opportunity to read a Bible. Not all of these bibles and translations are good and true. But you really can, find a mansion, every Sunday, to worship with others. I guess for me , all souls belong to the Lord. And rebellion, is very sad and to be honest it is hard to tell between the fearful, doubtful and plain o’l baddies.

Being rated "F" by a Jewish Protestant is a badge of honor, and I'm not even Mormon. Gotta say though, he hasn't seen their temples; the designs may be Masonic but, they are magnificent. I've been to every open house they've had in my lifetime and I intend to see the inside of the Salt Lake Temple before it's reconsecrated. It took an agrarian community besieged by desert and savage 40 years to mine, cut, transport, sculpt, and assemble the granite and marble used in that structure and the dedication shows. Unlike most protestants, the Mormons actually have decent sacred spaces (their regular churches minus the tabernacles don't count; they're multi-use for sh|t like church ball and etiquette dinners). Overall, their detail and scale are only matched by some high protestant denominations, the Catholics, and Orthodoxy and its rich in symbolism.

@@redeemedzoomer6053 Hey as a born and raised Mormon who enjoys your videos and takes on theology that isn’t LDS I have one question: Why do you have a dislike for Mormons? I know that everything is weird about it such as the belief of a living prophet which contradicts what Jesus says and how we technically practice heresies but we believe in Christ as the son of God who died upon the cross for our sins and then resurrected 3 days later, we build magnificent temples in the name of God (although Masonic you have to admit they are beautiful), and we refuse to change our ways in the current world (Example: We don’t allow politics to rule everything in our everyday lives or beliefs). It’s mainly just a genuine question stemming from your statement of all Christians being unified as a part of the Kingdom of God in a previous video from this week talking about Non-Denominational churches and I don’t really expect feedback from you or anything but I would appreciate it if you told me your views about it. @@TheEmbodimentOfSorrow Hey man, I don't want to speak on behalf of RZ, but I'm assuming he is as concerned with LDS as myself and practically all doctrinally sound Christians. I'm not sure about yourself, but LDS theology has God as being a man who ascended to the god-head, rather than being the Eternal Creator that He actually is. Additionally, having Jesus as God's literal created offspring and brother of Satan is a disgusting doctrine. LDS rejects orthodox understanding of the Trinity, of who God is. They as well believe that faithful Mormons will ascend to their own god-head in heaven, getting their own planets like God. Absolutely falling for the first lie Satan said, "that you will be like God". Christians who confess Jesus as YHWH, the eternal God and Creator, cannot stand in union with Mormons, who deny Jesus as the eternal God. Once again, I don't know if you hold to (or even understand) the depths of heretical teachings of LDS, but if you do, you worship a different god. Just like Islam who claims to worship the same abrahamic god, but rejects Jesus as Lord. There isn't compatibility. Does that make sense? I truly hope and pray that you are led out of LDS and see Christ as the One True God. Beautiful structures and nice people don't mean anything when the Eternal God is denied. God bless you man.

@@gagestorto5305 Yeah I personally don’t agree with most things that Joseph Smith implemented into the Mormon Theology. It’s weird for Mormons to think that Lucifer and Jesus were siblings. I also don’t really agree with them on the Godhood status that we’re fed to believe since childhood since that contradicts Christ’s statement about being “The Alpha and the Omega…” What’s weird is that I was taught by Mormons that Christ is the Eternal God but I won’t disagree with a thing since you appear to have obviously studied the theology created by Joseph Smith in depth and I harbor no problems with your views and I typically do question the LDS church’s teachings. I am aware of a few heresies such as the belief that we shall become gods which means that Christianity doesn’t have one singular God but instead it’s polytheistic which contradicts everything the Bible says about God. Anyways thank you for sparing some time to message me. I am grateful to have received a neutral view on Mormons and I hope you have a blessed day or night🕊️

@@TheEmbodimentOfSorrow I also don't speak on behalf of RZ. I will point out that LDS scripture revealed in the 1830s takes a very distinctively Nicene-Trinitarian approach to the Trinity; see 2 Nephi 31:21 in the BOM and D&C 20:28 revealed in 1830. They also affirm the eternality of God. This is not to mention the mountains of evidence found in the still LDS-approved KJV Bible. I have a friend who is an LDS Church member and an priesthood holder, who explained to me that these scriptures are reconcilable with the three separate gods position (since God is united in purpose) and exaltation (since they are eternal in the minds of their spirit children), but I am doubtful. He has lost some of his faith and succumbed to his same-sex attraction lately. Some LDS Doctrines, like baptism of the dead that they justify biblically with 1 Corinthians 15:29 and with post-restoration revelations, were likely heretical or pagan practices during biblical times: www.bibleref.com/1-Corinthians/15/1-Corinthians-15-29.html I consider the Community of Christ to be much closer to "mainstream" Christianity, although I am not onboard with their doctrines on salvation and other issues.

As someone who lives on the Coastal South (Alabama), I can confirm what he has said. Although! There are several great PCA churches here, as well as multiple great OCP churches (as long as you don't care about architecture). Been when it comes to other churches? Southern Baptists are, just more cultural than other places, and we actually do have several good monasteries for more Catholic bros.

Having grown up in Western PA, I can definitely speak to the "pretty Presbyterian churches." I grew up in a town that had an absolutely MASSIVE Presbyterian church that looked like it was ripped out of a European city. Never went (cradle Catholic), but it was one of the most striking features of downtown.

When you go to tennessee, consider reaching out to Long Hollow Baptist. They’re about 40 minutes Northeast of Nashville, they’re growing super fast, and they’re even doing a year-long sermon series on Revelation. The current head pastor is incredibly based, incredibly good at preaching, and his testimony is one of greatest comeback stories I’ve ever heard. At the very least, I think you should discuss with them the points you raised in your nondenominational video

As a Georgian, in my area in the metro Atlanta area there are a lot of very educated people, so I can’t say I understand the point about us being uneducated. We also have two top twenty ranked public universities in the nation. (UGA and Georgia Tech). We also have Chick-fil-A every 5 miles which is also a huge w. In my area at least we also have a lot of open farmland with cows that I get to drive past every day. I love Georgia, should have gotten S tier. Big fan of the videos though

Nice to see my homestate, NJ, in S tier. I agree totally underrated. With NJ you get a nice package deal of North Jersey and South Jersey too (us south jersians love to point this out) The food and yes even the pizza is great here too even in South Jersey as we have a ton of former Philly italians that migrated over to south jersey. Our bagels are good too as cherry hill nj is packed to the brim with jews
