I feel for the grandma. What some folks don’t understand is if she starts crying she may not be able stop. She raised her kids, her grandkids and taking care of two grown people. That grandma is beat down but every day she gets up and puts on that brave unbreakable exterior and in the dark of the night shed her tears. She’s doing the best she knows how.

This is a toxic statement, because their grandma is abusive and stubborn and ironically very disrespectful, it took her granddaughters having to drag her up in front of a studio audience and a therapist just so she can bearly acknowledge any of her shortcomings and violent, inappropriate behavior. And even then excuses were made. You cans say it was themselves you can also say it was God, but those kids didn’t turn out right because of the grandma with terrible way she treated them, THEY TURNED OUT WELL DESPITE HER. And that’s the truth!

The first case... For some reason this little girl isn’t like the rest of the outta control kids. I just wanna hug her... Poor thing can’t hardly talk about certain things without crying...like her mother. If she was really out of control, she would’ve hit grandma back but she didn’t, Instead she punches walls. It’s her way of showing grandma respect, although it might not appear that way. She has a lot of feelings and emotions she’s holding back. And the irony of her having to help grandma take care of her mother isn’t lost. I could see how that might build some resentment from the young lady towards the whole situation. A mother who abandoned her daughter 15 years earlier, now the daughter is forced to help care for her. Grandma and granddaughter love each other... grandma wants what’s best for her and the granddaughter just wants to live a little. I hope they compromise and meet in the middle.

She also raised her kids right, but that doesn't guarantee they'll raise the next generation right. Grandma is doing the best she can to take care of everyone & she doesn't have any time for her own self care & that's frustrating. I can relate & I give granny praise & grace. She just needs some help at home caring for the family, & it's best to keep them at home & not a nursing home. God Bless this family!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾💕💕

I did this with no help from my 3 other siblings & I also had 2 young kids myself. It was a hard year & I got like 4hrs of sleep a night for a yr. I watch him talk and he is well received because people are looking for that sound minded father figure/ or mature brother that they don’t necessarily have in their own families. This grandma has a lot of stress to deal with and the kids need to help her, she has so much on her plate and the kids giving her so much grief doesn’t help her and appreciate what she has done in her life to raise them all, she she gets angry with all the disrespect. They both need to see each others side.

I can relate to that girl. I didn't fight bur people said similar things to me. Sometimes it came from people it shouldn't have. It hurt. However, now, with social media etc, theres additional pressure. The girl is beautiful and I hope she will learn to see that and with time value herself.

3:04 I feel for both because I’m going through the same thing right now. I raised 2 of my grandchildren both I had since 2 month old and the other since birth and the mom was in prison because she put men before her children for the last 5 years but I had my granddaughter before she went to prison and when she got out of prison my granddaughter was 12 and now that she is staying with her mom her mom has different rules then me so now I feel like my granddaughter is out of control. And like this grandma it’s not that I don’t love her it just seem like every moral or values I taught her was for nothing because she just turn 13 and now she is running away with boys and she never calls me to see how I’m doing or to ask to stay with me. It like I was never in her life so I’m more hurt then anything cause I know my granddaughter and that is not her the way she been acting and it hurt me so bad!! It so easy for black children to go the wrong way in certain communities and it got ahold on my granddaughter right now. I wish my daughter would move to a better area but she is a single mother of 5 just getting her life back together from prison so I don’t blame her at all I blame that the kids are taking advantage of her weakness and wanting to make up for lost time. One thing though I’m not violent towards my grandchildren no matter how mad I get!!

I also understand the young girls point .she is angry but baby girl just support grandma, she has your back. Life will get better for you. Hold your head up. Make wise choices. Don't do things because All teenagers doing it...think about the consequences .think about your future.. how will your future be affected. I know you just want to be free but help your grandma .. you won't die. Keep doing good in school ....I love your show Karamo.

That lady love that baby she just aint with babygirl being in the streets. Because as we all know idol hands is the devils workshops... apparently the granny doing something right . At 31 my grandma will still take me out , if i disrespect her. 😅

You know what annoys me about talk shows, the lack of teenage boy representation. So many TS episodes are about teenage girls and I rarely ever see ones about teenage boys unless it has to do with a teen mom. The stage of TS just continues the concept of guys have it so much easier then girls, when that isn't always the case. Teenage boys have issues besides toxic masculity and TS need to make more people aware that they shouldn't neglect the issues of teenage boys.

These shows can only portray the people who reach out for help. So of that's lot's of teen girls & women then that's what we'll see. Lot's of teen boys & men don't seek help I think. I just saw a Karamo show last night about a 13yr old teen named Troy. So that just makes me believe we see the people who reach out to the show.

If she didn’t take you guys in you all will be in the foster care system. Every time Karamo has elders on here I think he tries to sympathize and respect them more than correct them when they’re wrong the grandmother is 100% wrong and they came there for what the daughter is doing although the Grandma niece incorrect and he always makes it about people need to understand what the grandparents go through when we are 100% understand that, but doing that we’re not doing nothing but continuing to mess up kids because once again, we’re stuck in the old days we are no matter what right or wrong elders need to be respected when they’re wrong they’re wrong
