    Legit review. Pearl foams like the cannon is filled with flat bud light. For the most part P&S has value and is backed by many youtubers so it gets a trendy factor despite being around since the 60s.

    You say it streaks in the sun (especially when it dries) which is mainly residue isn’t it? I bet if you went over it with a wash mitt and rinsed it would take care of that residue/streaking. It’s a pretty good soap and great value as you mentioned. I enjoyed the thorough testing you did. Excellent video.

  • @CardosCarDose

    @CardosCarDose

    Жыл бұрын

    My bad, I should rephrase my terminology 😂 yes! This is technically residue, if you follow the traditional wash this can definitely be removed with a simple rinse because the water activates the chemical. and thank you for the feedback! Really appreciate it 😎👉👉

    Great video! Thanx for sharing it! Question: I’m a mobile detailer, what kind of DI water do u recommend?

  • @CardosCarDose

    @CardosCarDose

    Жыл бұрын

    Whats good William! 😎 DI water has a bit of terminology, so I will elaborate on that. If you source your water elsewhere, for example a detail shop, DI water is often referred to as "spot free water, di ionized water, distilled water." If you use water at home like i do, find a company that can let you rent a DI filter so you interchange them when done. This will mostly depend on where you live so do some research on your area. What kind of DI water do I recommend? I would suggest using water that is between 0-2ppm, you can find this using TDS Meter as shown in my video. Anything above 2 it will spot to some extent, so be careful if you are sourcing your water elsewhere. If your at home you'll likely get a couple hundred gallons of 0ppm water. Of course do some research before jumping on board 😎👉👉 Hopefully this answers your question! 😉

  • @CardosCarDose

    @CardosCarDose

    Жыл бұрын

    True true, but I already have a dedicated soap for that. while that would be a good DIY strip wash solution, there needs to be thorough research on which chemical can mix with soap, because not all chemicals were designed to be home brewed. (not sun friendly APC vs pH Neutral Soap vs Caustic alkaline chemical reaction) I am testing out some APCs, mixing with soap, and I think the risk is a bit too high 😭 I will probably elaborate on that in a different video.

    On my slickness test it is the correct quantity, I know sometimes ratio numbers can be misinterpreted for a different serving, but this is correct. 16:1 is also said as "16 parts water and 1 part Solution." Same thing can be said for other ratios.

    @@chrisryan8894 Totally agree. When I started getting into this a year ago P&S seemed promoted as a top tier brand the way big channels pushed it. Especially Bead Maker. Pan the advertiser nearly creamed his pants in the rag company vid. It’s average at best. Pearl foams like horse wiz and flat beer out of a cannon. For $20 bucks a gallon a bucket wash and surprisingly out of an IK it’s pretty good.
