IS P&S PEARL THE BEST AUTO SHAMPOO LETS FIND OUT.

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

P&S has great detailing products. Do they have the best auto shampoo. Lets find out. I will test the 3 uses that Pearl is known for. Foam cannon, 2 bucket wash and as a no rinse. To consider it as a best car shampoo it will have to do everything it claims and do it well. I test and review this car wash soap on my dirty dirt bike truck. It is unprotected and a great test bed for this soap. This P and S shampoo has a great smell if you like lemon cake.

    Yes I really like this shampoo. P&S seems to always make winning products. I figured it would be a good product so I bought it and It met my expectations that I have from P&S products. When its time to get more soap or you want some variety in your kit give it a try. The foam is a different experience than I am used to but I have to say it was in a good way. If you want huge thick foam this won't do it but the sheeting action of the foam removed a lot of dirt off the panel. I will be using it more in the future for sure. Thanks for watching.

    @@HawaiiDetailing Thanks for the reply!! Suggestion on a new video: it would be great to see some type of wax detailing on your truck. I have a SUV that needs some paint protection. With so many options(i.e. ceramic, vs carnauba wax vs poly wax; and spray on vs machine polishers, etc.) it’s hard to know where and what to use. Any advice in the short-term would be much appreciated. Best regards!!!

  • @HawaiiDetailing

    @HawaiiDetailing

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@bryancook4553 the reason I have not corrected the paint is due to clear coat issues on the roof and hood that were there when I bought it used. These are common here on the Nissan Titans. I plan to get those spots painted and doing a full correction on the truck. Will be a good transformation. I will get deep into that real soon. I already have plans to do a full tutorial style series on paint correction and protection.

  • @bryancook4553

    @bryancook4553

    @@HawaiiDetailing that makes sense. I figured you were likely going to be doing something with it. If my SUV doesn’t have any paint correcting issues, if i do a decontamination over it, is there a product (i.e., Bead Maker) that you would lean towards? I’ve heard good things about 303 Graphine spray.

  • @HawaiiDetailing

    @HawaiiDetailing

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@bryancook4553 I think the graphine spray sealants would be good for sure. I think the best thing would be a paint correction and a ceramic coating. Than a topper product like beadmaker during the drying process of routine washes. The problem with the hard core spray sealants are they build up over time if used too often like as a drying aid. That’s why I am such a beadmaker fan. Provides great slickness and protection but can be used as often as you want. If you want longer durability and don’t plan on applying products during the drying process after each wash than that’s where the 303 graphine type products shine. This is a topic I wanted to get into as well. I only want my sealant spray to last effectively between washes because I re-apply it each wash as a drying aid. It’s when people put 12 month sealant on top of 12 month sealant every 2 weeks that it defeats the purpose and gets messy. That’s my thoughts anyway. Hope that helps at least a little.

    I have a gas power washer that is rated for 3100psi - 2.4 gpm. It has many uses around the house but I am concerned using it for the autos as it could damage the finish. What would you recommend for a nozzle and is there a more flexible hose? The current hose is not that user friendly. Thanks!

  • @HawaiiDetailing

    @HawaiiDetailing

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yes you have to careful at those pressures. Look at my video list and you can see what I am using. I highly recommend all the items I have. There are links to them in the description to check them out. Reducing pressure output happens by increasing the orifice size with the nozzle of the sprayer. Each pressure washer is different so you may have to sort out the details. 1000 psi is a great car washing result. The more pressure the bigger the orifice needs to be. Hope that helps.

  • @HawaiiDetailing

    It’s a good cleaner. It is PH neutral as most soaps are. If you are going for extra cleaning power add an oz or 2 of high quality APC to your favorite PH neutral soap mixture and you will get the power you need. Start small. The consequence of this technique and using any soap that’s not PH neutral is they are more likely to spot if it dries on the paint. You have to pick your poison. Lower power PH neutral soaps are easy to use and high power soaps have consequences if used incorrectly. Hope that helps.

    It’s a rough starting point for this product. You can always add more for thicker foam and less if you want a thinner foam. It’s a great shampoo. I will be putting it up against some heavy hitters in my foam cannon battle. Check out those vids. Thanks for watching

    @@HawaiiDetailing I actually have used it for the last couple of days. I put 2 oz in 32oz PF22.2 the first day, and 6oz today and I feel like I actually got better foam with just the 2oz. Also towards the end of the reservoir using 6oz the foam just died on me, idk why. I’ll keep playing with it. But I love the lemon cake smell! 😂😂

    @@TurnerMobileDetailing this tendency is common with the MTM tbh I’ve owned one and it was stutter and then go from time to time and have noticed it when others use it as well. I now own a Griots Garage Brilliant finish foam cannon comes with metal anchor to allow more flow from every angle you use it and has a better consistency. I’m not telling you to get it just merely sharing my experience I had with that same issue also.

    I think Adam’s car shampoo produces a little more foam but is thicker to work with in the cannon and bucket and Pearl cleans a little better and is thinner and easier to work with in the cannon and bucket IMO.
