Ok, ever since watching your video last year, P & S Pearl has been in the back of my mind as a soap I want to try it before my next big order. I, like the rest of you, have used all kinds of soaps, everything from the expensive boutique brands at a $1.60 an oz to ones as low as 7 cents an oz, and for the most part I enjoyed all of them. I've tried so many different brands of soap, from Ammo, Auto Fanatics 007, Adams, MTM, Gtechniq, CarPro, 3D, Bilt Hamber, Ethos, Optimum, Womo, Gyeon, Meguiars, Griots, Xtreme, Chemical Guys (numerous), Fireball, Tac Systems, TLC last soap, Angelwax, Turtle Wax, Pearl Nano, and the list goes on. I have a few favorites in the group that I buy in the 5-gallon containers, but the rest was just for testing. So I was about to order when I watched Pan's video on Pearl and that's when I decided to try PEARL because I really wanted lubricity over anything else because I have learned I am not a fan of suds over substance, i.e. cleaning power. We have never been this happy with car soap, so much so that we bought ten gallons. The lubricity is out of this world, I mean I have never felt anything like it. We use 1 oz per gallon for contact wash and 2-4 oz in the foam cannons and the cost is only about $48 to 60 for five gallons on sale, which seems to be about every two weeks, :-). This soap proves again, tons of foam doesn't clean the car, it's the cleaning and lubricity agents within the solution that are the secret and PEARL nailed it! It is the perfect consistency that allows cleaning agents to separate the dirt from the car and it's low viscosity produces a thick but watery foam that is capable of moving the dirt off the paint with ease. I am SUPER SOLD on Pearl!

Do you think this product provides enough lubrication to be foamed on to a car with the smaller ik foamer, and then wiped away? Sort of like how ammo frothe is used. Not asking if it can be a direct replacement for frothe, just curious if you think it would be “safe” to use it that way

If I pre-treat a panel with degreaser (removes traffic film and wax and sealant) and then begin to do the rinseless wash process using a wash and wax soap, will it put back the removed wax or since I used the degreased I need to apply a fresh layer of wax? I mean will using a wash and wax soap compensate for removed wax by degreaser? Thank you!

If so, and you are going to correct the paint can you use and explain the use of the LC Orange HDO pad with The Last Cut, on Anthony's Porter Cable (For us Padawan Detailers) similar to how he used it on the $500K Mustang Detail.

Purchased a gallon of pearl, 3 gallons of brake buster, gallon of ONR, 5 gallons of beadmaker and few pints of brake buster. I plan on giving some products to my brother. I haven't used brake buster and pearl yet waiting for the order to arrive. I love ONR followed up with Beadmaker. I have noticed though that ONR did turn certain materials white(ish) like letters on a boat. Just curious why doesn't TRC carry other rinseless washes like Wolfgang uber?

So if you are using Bead Maker as a drying aid and it is getting applied to a wet surface does it dilute or impact the end result of the Bead Maker meaning impact the slickness or gloss enhancement because of the dilution with water during application? I have been washing my CQuartz coated car, air drying it with the Master Blaster and then applying Bead Maker as the last step but not as a drying aid.

  • @coolwrld302

Thanks for replying. Not concerned as much about the longevity my car gets washed at least once a week and gets Bead Maker every time so I'm more concerned with the slickness and the gloss enhancement. Good to know those aren't effected when using as a drying aid. May have to start applying it that way.

agree. that first spray off with my power washer is just black water even though the dust does not look that bad. the feel to do multiple passes. i just use my onr for glass cleaning, and wolfgang's uber and griots rinseless wash and wax as detail sprays, door jam cleaners, and drying aids now. very economical for gallons of glass cleaner and detail spray. keep a spray bottle in trunk for bird poop. if my alpine white bmw was garage kept i would do rinseless washes more.
