Because the blonde is how she picture herself at an older age. This movie was released at Sundance. It's not great, but is not God awful either. Oh, and one more thing, even though the trailer make it look different, Aubrey Plaza is barely on the movie. She appears the most during the shroom tripping sequence.

So basically Aubrey Plaza is the hotter girl's imaginary friend/image of herself at an older age. Or maybe a time traveler. Doesn't matter, the trailer basically revealed everything anyway. Looks dumb af but the blonde girl is hot. I actually thought she was Annasophia Robb at first. 3/10
