40 is no longer middle age because people are living past 80 and 90 now. "Middle age" in the 60s (the people who smoked, had kids at 20, drank alcohol everyday) usually had kids in college by then.

One day you’ll be 90 thinking back to your current age and thinking, wow I was so young. So with this logic, you’re still in your youth and you can still do “enough” and do crazy things at any age. Obviously you can’t be a teenager again but you’re still young

Everyone who did "do enough" are now regretting it and that's why the unhappiness ratings are at an all time high. The FOMO effect is to get you to do things you'll regret later and things you cannot take back and things that will permanently ruin your future. I don't understand how people your age want to rack up a ton of baggage and make yourselves more unhappy?

@@Mandyb05 Unless they were in some severe accident or they've had copious amounts of work done, every single 39 year old looks like they did when they were 18. When a film relies so heavily on this concept, they should have tried to be pick actresses who at least kind of resemble each other.

A younger and older version of the same person??? No... just no... Which "middle age" genius had this epiphany of what she would go back and tell her younger self if she could and let's make it into a film and save the world... after a night of tripping...just no...eeww...cringe. Not how life works. There are no "do overs". You live, you love, you laff, you lose, you hurt, you try, you die. Make it worthwhile to the first circuit.
