Just watched your video. Nice. I use my popper a few times a week. If you like kettle corn: add 1/8 cup sugar just as the oil starts to sizzle, once the popping starts, put in a little salt, not even a 1/8 of a teaspoon... You can add salt later if you want. So yummy.

Thanks for the review and tips. Gonna have to try the Bobs red mill. We are not a fan of the franklins butter flavored salt, it tastes like a preservative or “chemically”, if that makes sense. Love our Franklins popper, corn and coconut oil. Add our own real melted butter and salt to taste. Takes movie night at home to the next level!

YES!!!!! it’s disgusting, I got the salt before I got the rest of my stuff and I sprinkled it on some microwave popcorn and it nasty. Get some flavacal that’s what the theaters use I found out from folks who have worked at movie theaters

Mine just came in today. I used it earlier with the stuff it came with. It was so good, but still too much popcorn for my wife and I to finish

Tracy - We really appreciate you :) Thanks so much for uploading this and we appreciate you buying it. Let us know if we can do anything for you in the future. Bob's is pretty good, what did you like about it better? I'm sourcing some different seed than what I know Bob's get. What do you like better about Bob's? This is a great video though, thanks for showing off the popper.

Don't get me wrong! Your popcorn was good but Bob's was "melt in your mouth" and very crunchy and not as chewy as yours. The crunch is important to me. I did yours in a Popco Microwave popper as well with a little oil and it was better than the stovetop. I bought a bunch of yours and I will eat it all. On a good note, yours is better than Orville Redenbacher which used to be the crown of popcorn but it's taste has changed since I was younger. It is flat and chewy. Thanks for commenting on my video.

Thanks for sharing I agree with microwave popcorn, it used to be good. Not very flavorful and dry

Tracy, Thanks for this video! After watching I bought a Franklins popper and I love it. Just curious, what brand of coconut oil and popcorn salt do you usually use with Bob’s Red Mill Yellow popcorn? I’d love to know. Many Thanks!:)

I have used many brands of coconut oil. Franklin's makes a very good one and so does Snappy. Sometimes I do a mixture of the oils with bacon fat. The main thing with popcorn is letting the popcorn have air while you are popping the corn and keeping it moving!
