Oh, this bike is really awesome! Got mine 2 years ago and realised that it's something I dreamed of in my school years! I'm 37, so my riding style has become moderate and less risky. Some street riding, some fun in the forest, a lot of wheelies and bunny-hop-to-surfs etc.) I.e. I still want to feel that fun like 20 years ago, but also some versatility and softness which can keep my knees alive =D Stock setup is a strong basis, but of course it have some "simple" parts haha) That's why I decided to do the same thing as you - replace a lot of stuff! Here is my list: Wheels: DT Swiss EX471 rims, Hope Pro 4 hubs, DT Swiss butted spokes, Tubolitos, Schwalbe Rocket Ron 2.25. Light, stiff, fast rolling - but still grippy combo. And of course these wheels are strong enough for my riding style and my 168 lbs) Brakes: Four pot Magura Trail for the front end, two pot for the rear end plus golden "racing" compound pads. Also I have 180 mm rotor at the front. Just love Magura for its motorbike styling with that one piece construction! 180 mm rotor adds some confidence while riding down the hill, sometimes I love to hit 40 mph on local serpentines, so nice! Transmission: Race Face Aeffect R cranks, 28t Chromag sprocket, 10-24 SRAM monoblock cassette and top-of the-line SRAM XO black chain. Pedals are full plastic, just 0.6 lbs per pair! Light and stiff combo - also that gearing ratio is perfect! I can roll fast enough on the straight, but also can climb some serious uphills if needed, of course in standing position only) Misc: Tree Bikes Ergo seat - very comfortable and nice looking, stock seat post. ODI lock-on grips - works perfect! And finally, after getting some small paintwork damages while riding on Bali - I decided to do another crazy thing. Stock paint has been removed, the whole frame sandblasted and then... Anodised in matte black colour! Also I cut off ISCG tabs cause I'll never use it and installed a new set of bearings. As a result - my own perfection. The total weight is 26.2lbs. Maybe in future I'll replace stock handle bar and stem, but overall this bike is my dream, love it! Cheers, Mike
These look really fun. I had a polygon bought from bikes online and had a really awful time. They didn't have spare parts for months, poor customer service and suspension bushings wore out in 2 months, then it took 3 months to get replacements. The bike itself is sick but bikes online is a terrible retailer. I would never use their service again
That Bike is nice, btw congrats on 100k, I hope to be there one day!

Thanks for sharing the clip with Harrison bro! He enjoyed riding with you
11:25 you can run it single speed and save a lot of weight and reduce dangling just using chain tensioner

Yup, I'm getting on shortly and that's my plan. Single speed with tensioner to replace derailer
You have an awesome cheering section.
I saw your IG post for this, I have the same bike got it about a year ago. Super versatile, used on street, pump tracks, and bike park. Now I can pretend to be like Barry! 🤣
Sick new bike day
Thanks for the review. My grandson loves your BMX videos. He wants to meet you, he is 6. Hope to see you in a Texas BMX track soon. Send a Hi to him JKing Jasso.

I look forward to meeting him
Dope dude! have you thought about throwing GX axs on it for less cables? you can do the hanger change to a DH to allow for use on the 7 speed and any DH build. Looks rad man!

Haha man I have always wanted to just can’t justify spending the money for that
Excellent video. I appreciate the weighing!
Istimewa 👍
I want one!!!! I used to mountain bike on my BMX, i love the low center of gravity over enduros, and 29s.
Pump up that suspension until you can no longer compress it easily. 50 PSI in tires. That's how it's done. I ride slopestyle on my ZZ, with the enduro boys and the bmx bandits all in one bike. Love it! But definitely make sure your shocks are pogo sticks and tires are hard as cement. This is the way 😁
Great video dude! I’ve been looking at this bike. I’m coming from a freestyle bmx background, do you think this 7 speed will be comfortable around dt Nashville’s hills? I ride about 95% street.
You gotta race it in the new MTB class USA BMX is doing this summer
SICK
Did the extra 15mm of fork travel change the feel of the steering? I guess it would lift the BB and change HT angle? I’m hoping to make one of these into a full on dual slalom rig but kinda don’t want to change too many things. 😅
Sick I was in the video 🔥😝
how much does a slopestyle help with the impacts? I got a yt dirt love and its a great dj but I'm a bit older and thinking of maybe getting a slope style to help with my bones.
Trid means dirt in reverse😊
I have one I custom built frame up Those bikes are amazing

No point, It was fatigued after 2 years. It's cheap for a reason. Shoddy welds
