We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️

First there was Smokey the Bear preventing us from starting forest fires. Now we have his cousin, Sam the Cooking Guy, showing us how to cook!
Made this for guests last night, it was unreal. HUGE hit. Thanks to Sam and the Lads.
Found your videos and now my whole family is HOOKED!!! Love your sense of humor....and comfort on camera.
Please do more simple appetizers! This was an awesome video and super relatable, so keep 'em comin'!
Sam "The Canadian Mountie" Cooking guy!! This appetizer looks so good!!
There you are! Always enjoy watching your fun videos. You are a character!!
“Oh mama Mia!” - that’s gold
Definitely doing this one! As for the hat I don't think it looks bad, but would suggest a narrower brim

Anyone questions your hat, tell them "I wear this hat the same way I cook; Like A Boss!!" This looked delicious!
Prepping this recipe for our tailgate this weekend, I’m sure it’ll be a crowd favorite 🫶🏼
I think the hat looks fine. As for the appetizer, I could see cutting it in three or four pieces and calling it dinner too. Put a salad with it and it looks like a heavenly meal. It looks amazing!
That appetizer is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! Going to make a few & put in freezer after we eat one of course. Thanks Sam!
Neighbors came over for lunch and beers today. Made this to accompany a salad! Awesome!! Will be making again REALLY soon. Thanks for the recipe…. Sending Blessings to you and yours!
Sam, yes to the hat. FYI: hats off the rack are called stock with a little personality. Is the hat felt or straw?? If it is felt, the brim may need trimming to match your head, the “Hatter” (a person who shapes hats) can trim & turn up the brim just a tad, to give it some personality. That’s how we do it in Texas. Search hat shapes to know what you want before going back to where you purchased your hat.
That appetizer looks AMAZING. Definitely doing this one. As for the hat.....you do you Sam. As long as you like the hat who cares what anyone else says. They can turn their head if they don't like it.
I'd love to try this with Marinara Sauce on the side to dip.
Very cool, very original! Thanks Sam!! I’m gonna make this tonight!!!
GD that was the longest reveal before bite I've ever sat through, the anticipation of your reaction. Too much! I have to make this
OMG!! You’ve outdone yourself with this one Sam!! Love EVERYTHING about this one!!
It’s not about the hat, Sam. It’s about the confidence to wear it!

I agree. You can put a fella in thousands of dollars worth of clothing, and if he looks comfortable it will never work. OWN it , Sam.

I agree and it has to do with the clothes as well. It’s a bit formal for jeans and a T. I can see you in a seersucker suit at a car show or horse race or even a jazz bar, drinking mint juleps or old fashions having a great time with your bride or even the boys. Now the boys would have to their old man’s dapper look. Love the bread appetizer recipe. Thanks
Amazingly tasty and simple. The dipping sauce perfectly complimented the sausage and pepper appetizer.
Been a while since I've done one of your recipes, but this one here, I gotta try! Thanks Sam
So easy and so tasty to present to your guests. Thank you for the great idea, can be done in so many ways…
Hey Sam, long time viewer and I know the lemons can be problematic. My dad told me not too long ago the way to help with that and I think you will love it since it's so simple. He pokes it with a fork and then when you squeeze the lemon, the juice flows to the holes. So you just point the holes at the food/bowl and it is so effective.
This has become the most requested appetizer from me amongst friends when we get together for appy evenings. Great recipe! Perfect as is. Thank you Sam!
made this tonight, was absolutely awesome, added some black garlic to the aoli , grilled it and it disappeared before it made it to the table. going in the rotation for sure Thanks Sam!
Sam, that hat make you look like “the man in the yellow hat” from Curious George. Lol
I honestly love the hat! And the appetizer is on tomorrow night's menu now 😋
Made it tonight for the family, and everyone loved it! Thanks
I added fresh basil to the sauce and crushed black olive before the cheese. Turns out I should have made a few more. Thanks again guys.
you may suit a different type of hat, certainly one that's a lot smaller. that looks sooo delicious.
Damn this looks epic!! My lady and I do app night where we just make two or three app style dishes, this is definitely gonna be made.

Hi Sam, if you use a regular fork to rake the bread out it is much easier to make your canoe. Pro tip😊👍🏼
You won me at sourdough! I shall be making this now. P.S. I dig the hat! Everyone should own a few different types of hats, especially with these hotter and sunnier days!
hey Sam loved the episode. can't wait to try it. I've been wondering who makes your wood handled skillet. would love to get one if my own.
I would love to try those!
I like the way you keep us watching with cool new concepts. Still would like to see shrimp enchiladas green or red.
Hey Sam, been in the same boat you are. Hats just didn’t “work” for me until I tried Boston Scally hats (news boy style) Love the appetizer and making it this weekend for our brunch…see how it goes 🤠

Always rock the hat big guy! And Holy Hell my mouth is watering for this masterpiece of magnificence!
This looks amazing...will definitely be doing this one!
That really does look amazing. I watch a lot of these videos just for fun, but I think I'm actually going to make this.
Absolutely YES to the hat! Don’t let anyone try to tell you otherwise. 🤩
The simple fact that you loved the hat you definitely need to wear it
Chimmy-churri drizzled looks flippin' awesome.
I feel like Sam would look amazing in a traditional English flat cap
Hat looked great, appetizer is being made this weekend, and most importantly your new watch was gorgeous. Would love to see a video on your watch collection.
Love this new appetizer you give us ! Definitely on my next get together list! As far as the hat goes, its a great hat! If you would loosen up some, and not have an uncomfortable posture, you Sam would rock that sucker! Make that hat your own! Thanks for everything you do. Have a great weekend!
You look like "The Man in the Yellow Hat" from Curious George. LOVE YA SAM!!!
My favorite cooking show. Makes me laugh and makes me want to try and eat this recipe.
No hat. But this looks amazing. Thank you, Sam and Crew!
Sam please go back and take pictures with all different kinds of hats. We can take a poll and help you decide which one to go with.
I have made this twice, everyone loved it. The brightness and freshness of the dressing on top kills it. The second time I made it, I baked the cut off top with the bottom of the loaf. Then soaked it with the dressing. Bite size sandwiches.
DELICIOUS!!!! My brother in law just made this for us tonight…it was a hit!!!! 😋
I think a good marinara would be a good dipping sauce
You look amazing in the hat Sam!
Dang, that looks soo good! Definitely giving this a try.
Definitely gonna make this!
4:12 “Alright, when you got your canoe all clean, move on….” - Sam the OBGYN
definitely give this a try
looks very delicious and appetizing
Oh Sam! Oh my! What have you done?! You've done so good, that's what you've done!!! Cooking it upside down on the grill is just genius!!! You know I'm going to have to make this now right?
Oh man! Have done something similar but with Italian meats. This? Yes! I will try!!!
Never seen this food before and now I want it so badly
Looks great....going into my try soon folder.
Can I say? I work in a restaurant and I have the cleanest cooking station. I fully appreciate your attention to cleanliness. Some call it ocd, I call it not cross contaminating
Imma try this bad boy!!
More appetizers please :D
This looks like a MUST do!
Yes to the hat appetizer was awesome given me ideas for a lunch
Love your new hat and this recipe!
Sam, as a fellow Canuck. Stick with Cooking and forget any fashion statements, with the exception of those awesome T Shirts you wear so well!
thank you for this video :)
look's great....will be trying this one....thank's
I'm coming over to eat..omg this looked great
The hat looks dope. I say rock it! Can’t wait to try this recipe
Yes to the hat! And that baguette looked amazing!
I like the hat, perfect for throwing cards into from across the room! Appetizer looks great!
What a fantastic idea!!
So glad to see a sourdough bagette being used, sourdough the king of breads. Cheers
Made this tonight with a couple of changes. I used the Italian blend of cheese from Kroger vs plain mozz. And sweet basil sauce for dipping (because I didn't have all the ingredients for yours). And it was the main course, not an appetizer! Very yummy!
I am making this one at the next garden party! 😁
Love the hat Sam, it goes great with your personality. Watch your show all the time.
thanks for this idea: made a variant on the grill over an open woodfire using a whiskey sausage meat that i curried & added chopped cilantro & cannabis. further differences: forgot about the sauce; grilled onion & garlic instead of peppers; cheddar instead of mozzarella; & the meat didn't all fit so it was spread right to the edges & i added barbecue sauce after it'd browned well. a little tricky flipping it to toast the bottom a bit but it worked. put the top back on (over more chopped cilantro & fresh onion) & toasted it further (should've glued it on with more melted cheese) & had it as a sandwich: amazing! had half for dinner & wrapped the other half in foil & heated it up over the fire next day for another dinner that was every bit as good. i'll be trying further variants for certain. my wife - vegan - was so astonished at the project she photographed the whole process...
I did NOT expect that thing to stay together as well as it did. Bookmarked.
Made this and loved it! Get a smaller brimmed hat, but wear the one you got is awesome too.
I still haven't made this and it looks outstanding!
Hat looks great, wear what makes you happy. Your Sam the cooking guy, nobody can judge
This was one I had to try myself. I changed a few things but still a great dish! Even my very picky girlfriend loved it!
Just saw this made by el mago cocina. I was also immediately inspired by it. Can’t wait to try it!
Sam, that appetizer, MMUUUAAAA, FAVOLOSO IL MIO UOMO, you always provide a great dish and show Grazie!!!
Just an idea for you. I used to have a restaurant but it didn’t last long. I did not know how to price my food. At that time I didn’t realize my food cost should be 30%. My mistake. Anyways, something I made as a special sometimes was corn bread stuffed with smoked pork and bbq sauce. After smoking my pork shoulder I would toss my homemade sauce on it. I would put a 1/2 scoop of corn bread mix. Then some smoked pork. Then finish with cornbread mix, and bake. Taste very good. Thought it may be something you might like to try.
No hat. I can’t unsee Smokey the Bear! 🤣
Yes to the hat Sam and yes to the appetizer can’t wait to try it
The hat reminds me of The man in the yellow hat from Curious George.
HAT HAT HAT! Love it! G'day mate!
That hat with navy suit with red tie and brown loafers would be sick lmao
I made bulgogi pizza last night. Excellent combo.
