Hell yeah Electro & Co is the way to go! I used their kit including a qs138v3 70h motor and em-200/2 controller with my own custom battery pulling 300 amps and it's freaking insane almost 30 HP and a s*** ton of torque!

I’m totally stoked for this, gotta blow the motor up before you pull it out

hell yea thanks for tuning in!

you buy a 125, those things go 75 mph with a F*** ton of torque. now, if its not as much torque as electric, you can try a honda crf450r or a ktm 300 xcw. those go like 90 mph and have like 50+ horsepower! Now the clutch is hard to get used to and the shifting, but once you get used to it, its too much fun.

I understand you're new, but let me say one thing ... If you continue to drive it like this, we will see a video shortly where you tell / show that the cylinder has cut

Qs138 v3 & em200 controller is all you need with that bike. Bac8000 is not the best option for this kind of mx build with a more powerful motor than the SurRon.

Yeah YZ 125 is a good bike in some states they are restricted tho Because there are two stroke and not green sticker. So beware when buying a two-stroke race bike race bike

Dude love seeing the progression on this especially coming from just ebikes and you already are figuring out the clutch. I have a couple tips and it’s just practice, maintain the bike, and only 2 fingers for the clutch.

What you should do is buy two 2 strokes. Keep one gas and modify the other. Also you now know what the power band is. 😀

Reminds me of riding a yz 80 back in the day, fun asf. Then I jumped on a 125, landed the jump but never rode again...

Make sure you mix the gas with the right amount of oil when you ride it

Be careful when pinning a two stroke. Theres this thing called a power band, and it activates when you hit a certain speed so get ready to get flung off if you try to fully pin the throttle.

What did you think of the vibration? 😅 brought a brand new yz 250 back in 2012 and put over 250 hours on it. My gas gas ec 350f feels like a 2 stroke compared to my Surron when it comes to vibrations Ebikes are just so smooth ⚡️

remember 2 strokes have powerband as well and it’s all good if you stall i do it all the time and you need to shift earlier as well because your just letting it rev out but other wise your doing good

If it sits too long, like if you get a long lunch the oil and gas will seperate. When that happens all you can do is shake the bike to get it to start again

Two strokes are monsters, all of them. That power valve opens up it can go out from between your legs. I actually tried a sur ron a while ago and it was pretty sweet. Though I still prefer a gas dirtbike

I like to see you ripe that 85 but never pin a bike in 1st because you could end up blowing up the bike so as soon as you take off shift up also since it’s a 2 stroke when you feel it starting to lose power use the clutch or shift down to keep the rpm’s up

Siiick I love the electric bikes but gas just another beast! Definitely not even comparable

It was really fun seeing this since I had a gas dirt bike also first thing you did wrong was you didn't give enough gas while releasing your clutch

when you convert it you should leave the 2 stroke pipe for the look. but maybe cut the inside half off for some more room

I remember my first 85 2stroke I was 10 lol bro is always buying kitty bikes haha

I can't imagine the power you'll have once you transform it to eletric considering how much power your small bike has.

also hybrid as some said would be fun for long rides or riding the bike on gas on the road to get to the trails but much more complex to build. I'm not even talking about Prius like parallel hybrid smoothly and automatically switching between so many different modes but just getting the bike to ride on electric + gas and have a way to keep the battery from draining completely would be a huge achievement. it's not like you can just buy off the shelf components, plus fitting even a small battery and electric motor while keeping gas tank engine and gearbox would so tight and so much heavier than stock

I used to have a 250yz 98. And yup I sent it. But I like my downhill mtb a lot more. I can control that at least better.

@SomeThing likeaWelder still needs clutch in situations that you want to load the fly wheel and have smooth bottom end power and I would recommend using clutch as much as possible to learn proper clutch control and manipulation can be very useful and fun.... clutch rings are cheap and easy to replace transmission is not cheap or easy and BTW no point in POWERSHIFTING your not a pro in a race that has a team to replace your bike and parts so if you know nothing about dirt bikes don't give people advice because your basically telling him to destroy his transmission and to ride like an amateur worst advice for dirtbike is don't need to use clutch. Clutch is a useful tool in dirt bike is not a nuisance

That’s just fourth gear on a YZ85. That’s like a razor electric dirt bike in comparison with an adult sized electric bike. Next you should ride the best of the best adult sized gas dirt bike, so you can feel real power!! Some would argue that the Honda 500 is the Sur Ron of gas dirt bikes!!! Try riding one of those?!!

Ahhh damn now I want a dirt bike again haha not sure I could get away with driving one around Amsterdam though 🤣 I'd love to move to LA you guys can get away with riding anything there 😄👊
