My Natural Sore Throat Remedies That Work Every Time

Here’s my natural remedy for a mild sore throat. I do this every time I get one and it works for me. If your sore throat keeps getting worse make sure you go to the doctor and get it checked out in case it’s something more serious.

Mix 1 Tbsp. honey with 1 Tbsp. raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar and drink. It numbs the throat almost instantly.

This remedy really works well everytime. Its good to swish around in your mouth like mouthwash for sore gums. Another good remedy for coughing during cold season is a tbsp of pure honey with a couple drops of lemon juice. These were home remedies my 88 year old mother has taught and used on my 8 siblings and me. Thanks Becky

I can't believe only 350 likes! She deserves way more! You can tell Becky puts so much effort into her videos, and she is always true to her word. None of her words of wisdom have ever failed me. I am only a teenager, but I started watching her videos when I was a kid, and they always made me happy. I think she has an awesome life, and she is living the best she can, looking after all those animals and living a stressfree, happy, healthy lifestyle. Becky, you have inspired me so much, and I strive to be like you, making the most out of this life:)

I truly hope that you have grown up since you wrote your post and have gotten over your hero worshipping, and learned to take what is said on KZread with a grain of salt. Keep this in mind, if it sounds to be good to be true it usually is. When it comes to ANYTHING health related do your research from Professionals and trusted websites ( I like the mayo clinic one) before trying it. What may work for one person can be a deadly mistake for another.

@@marytramp5678 I cannot believe how rude you just were. I would hope that you would apologize. And as for the lady in the video it’s one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. Someone who actually got STRAIGHT to THE POINT!! and told us exactly what to do without blah blah blah for a half hour!! It works very well for her and she was happy to share something to help others. It’s SALT WATER!! I don’t think it’s gonna kill too many people .

@@mjm3003 why in the hell would i apologize for being polite and simply stating the plain & simple truth to ask a professional's advice first? Most dr's will tell you to gargle with salt water no more than 2x a day. But here are a little sodium facts for you. that will prove that salt ( sodium) does KILL. And while i realize in this particular case she is just "gargling" when you gargle you will still swallow some of this "harmless" salr water. to put it into persective for you. the human body needs 500mg of sodium a day to function in a healthy manner. the average American consumes about 3,450 mgs of sodium per day. a tsp of table salt contains 2,300 mgs of sodium. it is recommended that we consume no more than 1,500 mgs per day. you can get that esily just by eating food without adding ANY salt to it at all. While there has been no toxic levels of sodium estalished. It has been established that consuming high amounts of sodium leads to high blood pressure, heart attack, cardiovascular disease, stroke, osteosporasis, chronic kidney disease, and cancer to name some of the big ones. so say you have an underlying health issue, and you take this woman's "expert MEDICAL adivice" to gargle 4x a day. because it "ALWAYS" works for her and maybe you don't know about it, or perhaps it isn't a major concern, but since you're doing it 2x the generally accepted amount, You could actually be killing someone. All i said was to take what was said with a grain of salt (pun intended to keep it light) and tell people to get a professional's opinion FIRST, BEFORE doing anything! i would say the SAME thing if they were to try a new exercise program, diet, etc. what works for one person, is good for one person, can LITERALLY KILL another. and yes, i'm trying to be Rude as hell to you! and i will not apologize! how dare you insist i apologize for telliing people to research something, find out the facts, and ask a professional BEFORE trying something!!! That's simply COMMOM sense! I bet you, you're one of those idiots that take all natural over the counter things like st johns worts and dandelion roots, etc and mix them up with other things. then cant figureout why you feel like crap all the time!!! i can tell you why. just because they are "all natural" doesn't mean they aren't a medication and can be mixed together! Do your fk'n research about what the hell you're putting into your body, find out the facts, and ask a professional!!! i'm not saying those things don't work, i'm not even saying this won't work, i'm just saying to BE CAREFUL!!!!

@@marytramp5678 Oh my goodness!! How can the average American even be alive?? The sodium in McDonald’s french fries must be out of this world 🌎 How are we all still standing upright and walking around?? I’m not saying that it couldn’t have an impact on your health, and that we shouldn’t eat a good healthy diet because I believe we should. But we will certainly live gargling with a little salt water and a couple of the little granules getting down our throat. You were unkind to this young lady and it’s really sad 😢 You didn’t have to speak so ugly to her. She enjoys watching this kind woman who’s only trying to help people. I’ve been sick with a very bad cold or the flu for days. The first day my throat was so incredibly sore and my husband said gargle with some salt water. I did and five days later I’m still here. My husband has had high blood pressure in the past and he always gargle with salt waters. We’re still living. My grandmothers & grandfather all lived to be 90 their diets were horrible 🤷🏼‍♀️ What’s more disturbing to me than anything else is your stinky attitude towards a young girl, who gave this sweet lady a complement. I’m sad that you have to come on here and speak ill to her in a degrading way. It means you have a spiritual heart condition that isn’t full of love and compassion for other people. The remedy is found in the Bible His name is Jesus Christ!! When you find Him and surrender your life to Him He will bring the love that you need for yourself and for others. God bless!

I knew about the salt water, but, I didn't know you had to do it 4 times a day. Will remember that the next time I have a sore throat. And I recommend peppermint tea, tastes yummy, and good for the stomach. Plus in the summertime, nothing cools you down quicker then ice cold peppermint tea, it cools you from the inside out.

its me ? I keep my nose clean with saline spray. My doctor told me it lowers the allergens in your system, so one doesn't get the resulting colds and sinus infections as bad, or at all. I hope this helps. I used to get allergy induced sore throats and sinus infections. I haven't had one for about 16 years. The one important thing to know- tip the nozzle toward the side (each side) away from your face. Spray into each nostril at least twice a day, but can be used more often if needed. Use two sprays, blow your nose carefully, then breathe up the third spray and blow your nose again.

OMG the best thing was I crushed my finger in the car door, came in the house and plunged it into a shot glass full of CS it stopped the throbbing and stopped it from turning that black and blue bruised color and I never lost my fingernail either. I healed a cat that had encephalitis from getting all of it's shots at the same time. I cured my grand daughter of pink eye with it too.

@@eolus101 How is recommending that you use NON pharmaceutical products benefit them!!!? Here's how the excessive salt HURTS you though. Excessive salt/sodium intake causes high blood pressure, heart attacks, stroke, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, osteoporosis, & cancer to name a few. The average American consumes 3,400 mg of sodium a day. While 500 mg is all it takes to live in a healthy manner. But also almost impossible to achieve in today's world. The recommended AI is 1,500 mg not to exceed 2,300 mg. And while there has not been a toxic level of sodium established, keep 1 tsp of table salt =2,300mg. So if 1 tsp =2,300mg then twice that is 4,600 mg a day. And that isn't even including anything you may eat or drink. Bc even water naturally has sodium in it, all foods do. And if you don't trust your drs & pharmacists then get new ones. It took me a long time to find my Drs but a short time to find a pharmacist. It's big pharma & the insurance companies you can't trust.
