It wasn't really about her being Korean or her eastern asian features, but being a foreigner who was so adorable and funny. She was also very humble and wasn't afraid to embrace the Filipino culture.

Sandara became famous at a time when a lot of Filipinos didn't like Koreans yet and there was no kpop phenomenon. She simply won the country over with her kikayness and cuteness

Me personally, I like Sandara not because she's korean but because she is warm hearted person, down to earth and you can see to her physical appearance that she is a positive and a loving human being. When Sandara is in the Philippines, she speaks tagalog and still trying to communicate well around her. She may not have a high pitch voice compare to other Filipino singers but she has sweet voice that attracts not only younger generation but also oldies. And as I have seen her in yt videos .. her appearance did not change she is still the same Sandara of the Philippines whose sweet and warm hearted little girl. No one can replace Sandara Park as the most popular Korean Artist of the Philippines. She been loved by different ages in different part of the Philippines.

Sandara is loved not because she is a Korean. K-wave wasn't as popular during her stay in Philippine showbiz. It was because of her character that Filipinos loved her. It's her persona.

We love her not because she is KOREAN. She is a funny and charming person that is why we Filipinos love her.

I can tell you one thing, it's Sandara that popularized Kpop and paved the way for other groups here in the Philippines.

I'm one of Sandara's fans way back Star Circle Quest. I still remember her audition. We watched that show everyday. She really did capture the heart of Filipinos. She's part of my childhood and I am thankful for that!

Sandara was the very first K-idol of the Philippines.... she was dearly loved by everyone.... even till now, to me it's hard to really mind her being korean because we saw her being a filipino idol lol.... when she was at 2ne1 that was that time when i realized, she really is a korean... nevertheless we love her so much she can go anywhere in the country and people will shout her name!!!! we love you Sandara!!!
