Maharani by Alamat is one of the best Songs to introduce to foreigners because it shows Filipino culture, they use traditonal instruments in their song, their choreo is folk dance inspired ang their outfit are also made from textile from the Philippines. Alamat is a true representation of Ppop!!!

People actually heard of ppop it is just that at the moment most Filipinos still hold bias against it which is sad because there are really amazing ppop groups especially SB19 and Alamat. Their songs are too good.

What do you mean most Filipinos are biased against OPM? I've been through multiple OPM music festivals this year and there's a lot of Gen Z supporters, not to mention the Millennials. I can also tell you that PPOP has gained traction way before the pandemic.

Ate Sylvia, as for Alamat, they don't just use Tagalog and English for their music, each member of them actually incorporates their mothertongue language like Waray-Waray, Kapampangan, Bisaya, Tagalog, Bikol, etc that's why they always need to add ENG subtitle right away.

Their voices blend so well. I think I’ll give their music a go. Also, i love how genuine their comments were. It seems that all the members have a passion for music. They know different genres of songs to similate what they’ve heard. I think fame and success won’t be impossible for them if their management continuously give them the right exposure.
