I hate when people "react" to this song and don't actually listen to it. The song has so much meaning and is heartbreaking.
You must to hear the studio version, without this "cut". It's amazing how the scream preceeds the solo.
Skid Row has some great stuff, gotta love the hair band era. I've heard them live twice - I say heard because I didn't actually attend the show, but they headlined a small festival that took place in a park literally 3 blocks from where I lived in the early 2000s, so I just sat out on my balcony and heard it all, two years running. If you want more Skid Row, maybe go for the ever-popular 18 and Life or I Remember You.
I have a tear ..... Made my whole week of my sprained ankle and foot better I have chills and no words !!!!! THANK YOU ❤❤❤❤

Don't mention it Lori, it's my pleasure :)
My fave song from Skid, almost no one react this one! ✌🏻✌🏻
If you understand what this song is about it will break your heart.
This isn't even close to one of their best songs and it's still amazing! Check out I Remember You, Youth Gone Wild, Wasted Time, 18 and Life, or Monkey Business to hear some truly legendary music.

Surprised that you led off with “In a Darkened Room”, but it makes total sense! Put “Wasted Time” and “Quicksand Jesus” in Line for the next reaction!! Ur gonna hear Sebastian at his best, and excellent guitars, along with those drums! Don’t stall. Let us all hear the reaction Please!!! I just subscribed!
scotti hill is so underrated
You can say Classical and Sebastian Bach in the same sentence, he was Classically trained from an early age until the wild bad boy Rocker evolved from the ashes of the saintly Quire Boy he'd been (Kiss are largely responsible for that); although he did eventually spend many years as the Lead in some pretty huge Broadway shows 😀. The video is their own and the official one; it wasn't the first time they filmed something live then released it as it was, or cut it unedited into a studio video. They really were that good and tight on stage. Sadly, most of the live stuff you find on KZread doesn't do them justice with its terrible or barely adequate sound (a sign of the times... we weren't even allowed to bring basic cameras into most gigs) but I've my memory and exceptional recall ability to fall back on. Hearing Sebastian live (maybe six or so times) definitely isn't something you could forget in life, even when it's been over 30 years since you did.
Sabastian bach is the best front man ever. He loves the fans and he puts 150% out on every show.
Omg I'm freaking out !!!!!!
In his book Sebastian Bach said that they originally had another video filmed for this song, but everyone hated it. And he basically stole the video tape and now he has the only copy that exists.
I've noticed every reaction of this song ALWAYS skips over the tones of sexual child abuse and clings to the amazing vocals/band performance. It's a shame because this lyrical content is pretty rare in music but Skid Row tackled it. Similar to Richard Marx writing a song about sexual survival for homeless youth.
Your parents must be really cool guys !!!
I have been seen The Skids 1989.in Milano special guest of Motley Crue, Dr Feelgood tour, honestly i didn't really like them live, at least not like Alice in Chains with Screaming trees 1993. I, m not saying they're not good. I loved them for years and even now 👍👍👍

You need to listen to the lyrics and understand what he's talking about in our fucked up world. Wake up and realize what's happening in our world with the children who are being abused and sold for money and greed
Primate hair
Dude, not only is your head bobbing and air drums very distracting, but highly inappropriate. This is not a happy song. Glad you enjoyed, but try listening to it next time, lol (My reaction to your reaction. ) ;)
